Rayman, is not very entertaining. The graphics aren't all that great either. I highly regret wasting my money on such a crapy game. The game has no solid point or goal. This game is side-scroling. However, if you like Rayman forgive me saying such bad things about this game, but I am trying to help people save their money for games that really entertain you. The game hardly gets harder as you go up in level, and the levels are horrible, they are all easy, boring, and they don't have very hard enemies. This game is definitally for gamers who don't like video games, but who have nothing better to do. If you still want this game, it may seem fun at first but adventually you will feel the same way about this game as I did.

I got this game over 2 years ago, when it first came out. I was surprised on how BAD and CONFUSING the gameplay was. The levels were too chalenging, and it took me forever just to learn how to save my game. Also, when I found some cheats for the game, strange things happened. First of all I found they didn't help me, and Rayman was invisible. But since codes shouldn't matter on gameplay, the gameplay IS horrible. The music is OK and the graphics are fun too look at (which is why I gave this 2 stars instead of 1), but I thought the original reason for GBA games was to pretty much to keep game old game fans happy. In other words, if you are a huge fan of Mario games, or just platform games in general, this game is not worth buying. Get either the amazing classic Super Mario world or Yoshi's Island. Also check out The Crash bandicoot game which is great, it has pretty much the same graphics as this and the great gameplay of Mario games. If you are a fan of "new style" platform games or horrible gameplay, go make a mistake and pick this game up. In other words, don't make the same mistake I did.

If you loved Rayman for Playstation, but wished you could play it on boring car or plane journeys, then this is what you are looking for. It is exactly like the Playstation game except you play it in a smaller system. If you hated the Playstation version, you'll hate this unfortunately.

The best of the best

Rayman advance is one of the best gba games hands down. The graphics are surreal. When I turned on the game I couldn't believe my eyes. It looked exactly the same as the one for psx. The only down side it's the same exact game as the one for psx. but, none the less it's a great game and definetly one of the first you should pick. This is the firt game I have for gba, so I'm a little byast. But in my defense the first game I got for gbc I hated. In short get Rayman advance. You won't be disoppointed.

Just Gotta Get it!!!!!!1

YOU GOTTA GET THIS GAME IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING A GAME BOY ADVANCE SYSTEM. I JUST BOUGHT IT A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO. I THINK IT IS A GREAT GAME TO HAVE. I ONLY HAVE TWO GAMES F-ZERO AND RAYMAN AND I THINK RAYMAN IS WAY BETTER BECAUSE F-ZERO IS THE SAME RACES IN ALL OF THE LEVELS. WELL, JUST A GAMER GIVING ADVICE!

Despite it's age, still a fine platform game!

Despite the age of this games' original version on PlayStation this is still a very entertaining platform game. Of course it has some significant issues which I will now talk about.

This game, first of all, is not easy. There are many places during the course of the game where you may get frustrated with the difficulty of the level. It's not that it's hard to figure out what to do to finish the level, it's that it's difficult accomplishing what is obviously necessary to advance through the level. While the levels can be tough to get through, practice and memorizing will get you through eventually.

A second problem is the fact that extra lives are very difficult to come across, and once you get them, finish the level, and then save, there is no getting them back. This forces the player to gather 100 Tings in order to get extra lives if you can't locate the actual extra lives. Another problem is the fact that I don't think there is any way to get continues back after you have used them.

This game is also pretty short. While it very attractive visually, this means that there was less room available to make lots of levels (at least that is my own theory). This is not like Super Mario World where there are more than fifty (if memory serves) levels in the game. While, short, it is still challenging enough to require a considerable amount of time to complete.

All in all, this is a very good game to buy if you're into platform games. Even if you have it PlayStation, it is worth getting a portable version. Despite it problems, this is still a game that should be in every GBA collection.

A GREAT Game for ALL AGES W/ GREAT GRAPHICS

Rayman Advance is an amazing game for gba. Gameplay can be very difficult at times ( a good thing) and it takes a considereable amount of time to beat it. Stunning graphics are placed throughout the game and make it a lot more enjoyable. Plus, you get fun powers, bosses that aren't THAT hard, puzzles, mini games, and a great ending. To note on the ending, unlike many reviews, you CAN defeat the main boss. The VERY last level is challenging and loads of fun!!!! i reccomend this game to anyone!!!!!!!! IT IS WORTH BUYING!
