If you own a GBA, don't even consider playing on it if you don't own a copy of RAYMAN ADVANCE. It is the sweetest game Nintendo has made yet for a handheld. It's got dazzling graphics with great color which makes the game play easier and causes less eye strain. RAYMAN ADVANCE is not 3-D, but it's still worth the money. It's a great platform game. The sound/music is ok, I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's not overly great. You can save the game every 1/4 level or so, so it's not to bad for saving games. RAYMAN ADVANCE is very challenging: packed with tons of levels, worlds and many different enemies. This is a ya-gotta-get game. GET RAYMAN ADVANCE NOW!!!!!!!
Solid adventure game with great 2D graphics

Rayman Advance is a pretty good game. The detail in the worlds is amazing! But the game is quite difficult. Even though you have plenty of health and lives the levels are hard. So if you are looking for a fun but difficult adventure game then I would suggest you check out Rayman Advance.
Awsom!!!

I just love Rayman Advance! If you clear an area Betilla the fairy will give you a new power to use on your adventure. The graphics are awsome and easy to your eyes. Play tip: don't try to get all the cages open when you first get at a level, you can come back to that area anyway. The music is kind of dull in the beginning, but once you get into the band land, it starts to get catchy. Rayman Advance is my first Gameboy Advance title and it makes a good "first game" choice. Enjoy your limbless friend.

This is probably one of the more entertaining games at the time of GBA's debut. Plenty of button mashing just to navigate around and the color and resolution is outstanding. Entertaining animation and extremely smooth scrolling helps to minimize the frustration of missing that ledge by a handswidth. Extremely challenging in the later stages but with the help of Rayman's friends those challenges can be met by some unique power ups. Some of the icons indicating Raymans life and energy may seem a tad big and can easily get in the way of areas you are trying to negotiate through. Game play is fun and who can resist the awfully cute Rayman?

In simple terms: Rayman Advanced is a must-have for everyone who enjoys side-scrolling platformers. Hands down. There are loads of very unique and challenging levels and a handful of secrets to discover. The graphics are very easy on the eyes and, likewise, the music is overly catchy. My only gripe about this title is that it's just a port of the PC version. So if you own the original Rayman game on PC, there's no sense in buying this one. Besides, the PC version sounds better to boot. But you can't go wrong with Rayman Advanced. It's that easy.
AWesome!

If you really want to see all the new colors that the new Game Boy Advance can deliver, then this is your game. Simply put, it's amazingly beautiful. My only real gripe is the difficulty ramps up quickly and it can be very frustrating at times. The graphics make it seem like it's aimed at a younger audience, but my nephew would never make it past the 8th level. The blind jumps and "instant death" falls really take a lot of the fun out.
astonishing difficulty

Let me start by saying that Rayman Advance's graphics are amazing. They really impressed me. However... The difficulty and blind jumps border on ridiculous. If you don't have the code for unlimited continues, you won't make it past the second world. It seems like I lost 15 lives per stage, and then another 20 or so lives trying to defeat the bosses. While the difficulty improves the longevity of the game, the frustration jusn't isn't worth it. Wait till the Gameshark comes out before you pick up this title.
