Most of these reviews already give you a significant amount of information about the game. I find it amazing that some of the reviewers are talking about how much their children love the game-perhaps I'm dumber than a child? I do love this game, and love how girl oriented/Japanese it is. They included emotions as special weapons, you can shop with your coins, and there are a series of puzzles inside the game you have to solve to make it to the next level. I enjoyed all of these aspects until I got further and futher into the game. Now I'm trapped in a level where I assume I'm confronted with a puzzle, but have no clues for it. I literally can't go anywhere but through doors that send you right back where you came from. Even friends of mine who are game guru's can't help me beat this weird patch. So, I loved the game until I got stuck in the land of doors. It ruined the game for me...I just can't get out. And if a child can get passed this level I feel like a dummy. I've put it down for months now because I'm so sick of trying to crack the door trick.
Princess Peach isn't any less than them boys...

I love this game! At first I was a little leary (Peach always kind of annoyed me) but after I got the game and started playing it, I knew Nintendo had done it again and made another masterpiece! The game is a little easier than previous Mario games but it can still definitely be challenging! I enjoyed the mini games and the puzzles (you collect the pieces as you complete stages). After you beat the game for the first time you have to go back around and beat every stage again (while collecting new puzzle pieces and mini game stages). Every time you beat another boss, more stages get added to the next world. usually about 3 stages are added and they are relatively shorter than the original stages but definitely a nice addition.
I liked the little twist Nintendo brought out in using Princess Peach's emotions as attacks. It was very original and it is fun and different.
If you own a DS, this game is a must have.
Nice addition to the Mario genre

This time it's the Princess saving the Mario brothers from Bowser on Vibe Island. A nice twist and it's about time ;)
With the help of a talking umbrella and her four "vibes" of Anger, Sadness, Joy, and Calm, Princess Peach takes out the usual goons who also have vibes of their own. Through the shop feature you can purchase abilites for your umbrella and add to your life and vibe levels.
Princess Peach is entertaining with nice graphics and using the vibes is fun and unique. While gameplay is easy, the challenge comes from finding all the hidden items. The first time it's the trapped toad people, the second time it's puzzle pieces, additional levels for the mini games, and band members and songs for the Peach Five band.
This is my favorite ds game!

Hi, my Mom and Dad bought us this game as a surprise and we LOVE it! My littlest sister who's 5 can play it (I help her a LOT) but it's nice she can understand it. My other sister who's 8 loves it! I like how you can get puzzles and mini games. And you can buy music! The gameplay is really good and the grafics are great! Overall this is my favorite ds game!

It is finally time for Peach to have the spotlight and have to save Mario, Luigi and Toad! Peach has to use her four vibes (Joy, Rage, Calm and Gloom) to save Mario, Luigi and Toad from Bowser after kidnapping them and getting hold of the magical Vibe Wand. He then took off for Vibe Island with a troop of minions in tow. Peach gives a chase, only to find herself affected by the vibes given off by the island. Using these newfound vibes to channel special abilities, she sets off to rescue Mario, Luigi and Toad!
Peach's vibe powers include:
Joy: Peach whirls about like a cyclone, creating air currents that will spin objects, clear away enemies that she crosses in her path, and even lift her high into the air.
Rage: Peach catches fire, burning enemies in her path and wood.
Gloom: Peach weeps and runs incredibly fast, during which time she's invincible. Her tears can cause plants to grow, among other things.
Calm: Peach slowly regains health.
Before leaving, Peach is given a magical umbrella, which she can use to pick up enemies and absorb them creating more vibe power, whack enemies to get rid of them, and use her special abilities such as slidebella and more to get pass the levels and save Mario and Luigi.
Yes, it is true the game is easy; at first. After a few areas, (maybe 3 or 4) the game gets way harder. So it is not just like a game that only takes a few hours to complete. This game is not a girly game just for girls, this is a fun game for everyone and I think everyone should have this game.
THIS IS SOOOOOO FUN!!!!!

i got this game for christmas. it is somewhat hard for players like me who are less experienced with action games. i'm not saying it's really hard...in some parts it's easy, and in some parts it's difficult. i just got to the second boss. more experienced players might find it easy....or maybe not...i don't know. anyway it's really fun and i highly recommend it. there isn't much violence...no blood or anything. it's also fun to play with the vibes. if peach sits still she starts twirling her umbrella and eventually perry(the umbrella) opens up itself and closes on her head... it's kinda funny, but i feel bad that peach looks stupid in spite of an annoying parasol. it's a fun game. buy it. just because it stars princess peach, it DOESN'T mean it is just for girls...even though i am a girl, i mostly wanted it because i like peach.
i've run out of things to write. this game rules. bye.
A favorite!

Yay, finally the tables have turned and Peach has to save Mario and Luigi! It's about time!
It has fun graphics and music. The puzzles are easy at first, but then they get tougher and tougher! There are many familiar bad guys, and some new ones as well.
I find myself throwing down the stylus, however, and just using my thumb when I need to choose an emotion.
All in all, a very addictive mario game. I'm not really a mario fan, per se, but this one is very fun.
Fun game for wasting some time with

I bought this game as my first DS game after getting a DS this month since I hadn't been allowed to purchase one for my younger brother for Christmas for his DS, and I was curious about it. This game is fun, but really short. Unlike the Mario games that I've played in the past, you don't level up, you don't immediately die and have to restart the level if you fall down a hole or accidentally step in lava or get hit with flames, and you can't get status effects like getting bigger, shooting fireballs, or flying. You can hit things with the umbrella, jump on things, and buy things from the store with coins that would've normally come from leveling up. The emotions and their uses are described fully in the booklet, but they're also discussed in the first level of the game.
I really like the aspect that you don't automatically have to restart the level after the first screw up, since that's what frustrates me most when I play Mario games. Another thing I like about this game is that you can play part of a level and then use an option in the paused menu to exit the level, and it will still save all of the toads and coins that have already been collected in the level, which I think differs from the New Super Mario Brothers game's policy regarding the stars.
Some of the Boss battles have been challenging for me to beat, but I started playing the game on Thursday evening and had all but the final battle with Bowser beaten by the following Sunday evening. Yes, I did do other things in that time period. On the one hand, it's nice to play through and then be able to say "hooray, I'm done!" but on the other hand, it's sort of feels like a waste of money that it's that short, if the game ends after Bowser is beaten, like I think it does.
The mini-games use the touchpad, and some levels of some of them have also proved to be a little bit tougher than I can handle, which adds a nice bit of extra challenge.
I found/am finding the game a lot of fun to play, and not very stressful since you don't really have to worry about being game over'ed, but it seems a little too short for my tastes, which is why I'm rating it only 4 stars overall.

I've been looking forward to Super Princess Peach ever since those first leaked screenshots started spreading around the Internet. I've always loved the Mario franchise, sans the Mario Sports series, but more than that, I've always thought that Peach deserved her own game, and for it to come to one of my favorite game platforms since the Super Nintendo is a bonus treat!
Super Princess Peach follows the oft-abducted Princess and her Parasol "Perry" on the mysterious Vibe Island. Bowser has stolen the Vibe Scepter, and with it, not only captured Mario, Luigi, and the Toads, but also has sent both the Mushroom Kingdom and Vibe Island into chaos.
Through the game, you'll battle with traditional Mario-style game play, i.e. jumping on baddies, smashing blocks and the like, but you'll also harness the Princesses' powerful emotions; Rage, Joy, Sadness, Calm, and...er...Doc... via the Touch Screen. Most often, you'll find yourself using them to solve in-game puzzles that will lead you to a captured Toad, but in later levels, you can use them to explore large hidden areas and save yourself from death.
If you get sick of playing through story mode, Super Princess Peach also features a few stylus-based mini-games akin to Super Mario 64 DS. There's a set of puzzles, the pieces of which are hidden mostly in-level, and a few Toad harassment games (is it wrong to purposely lead them into a wall of fire?). There is also a 'Concert Room' where you can replay any of the music or sound bites from the game. Again, some are hidden in-level, but most can be purchased at the store, and unless you are attempting to avoid coins, you'll have plenty to waste.
Overall, Super Princess Peach proves itself to be not only a great addition to the DS' already formidable game library, but a great 2D platformer as well.
Even though the game is a little on the easy side, the overall experience isn't hindered much and there are bonus 'harder' missions for when you are done with the game. And guys, don't shy away from this one because the word 'Princess' is in the title.
After all, it's not made by Disney and if you ever played Super Mario Strikers then you know that Peach can be a major.... well, suffice it to say that if you own a DS and a Y chromosome, don't let pride make you miss this one.
