This game is not even fun for a minute. All you do is draw disfigured pac man and little lines. It is just pathetic how bad this game is.
Terrible!!!!

Their are bad games, but this is just crazy. It's ridiculus. What's really cool about this game,is that people like it. I can't even draw Pacman! YOu have to be absoulute perfect with the drawing. Don't buy it,it's not worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favorite cartoons growing up (I cannot remember it's name) was one in which an old guy would draw things on a chalkboard and then they would come to life. This is sort of what happens in this game, and also a possible preview for future, more sophisticated DS games.
You are able to draw pacman (I love giving him a Simpsons look with an overbite)and then see your drawing come to life and start carpet munching. You then control the direction by drawing lines. The goal is to complete several stages that make up a chapter and beat your previous higher score. There are 12 chapters in all. This is such a fun game, that replay value is huge, as you can replay levels to constantly try to beat youor hight score. In a sense, it is like a racing game, as your have a time limit.
I have not played it enough to get to the levels in which you draw bombs or arrows, but am guess they are just as fun.
Overall, this is a unique and fun game that is well worth the price. I only wish they had 20 stages and not just 12. And it is also a very welcome addition to a very sparse and disapointing DS line up.
very fun and addictive

Picked this up on a clearance sale for 15 bucks and it was money well spent. I had read a couple so-so reviews of this game, and I often saw it in the used section of a local video game store for around 25 bucks so did not think it would be so good. Like many games for the DS which utilize the touch screen, its a novel approach to an old game and is quite fun. I'm terrible at drawing, yet even my most bent out of shape pac-mans come to life.

Pac Pix is a top-notch game for the Nintendo DS handheld system. In this game you use both screens, top and bottom; and all the action takes place using the stylus. It's a little tricky at first, until you learn the "gestures" (the drawing symbols you need to use to control PacMan and his environment), but once you've learned those and had a little practice, the real challenge is in getting through the levels.
Using the stylus, you draw a PacMan (small or large, depending on how fast you want him to go), in the bottom screen. You then create "walls" which cause PacMan to turn and go in the direction you specify. Loose ghosts in the bottom screen are gobbled up as PacMan rolls over them. But just because all the drawing takes place on the bottom screen, doesn't mean the top screen is a gratuitous display piece. Quite the opposite! The top screen houses the PacMan road, a single channel where ghosts, extra lives and pickups can be found. PacMan can travel the PacMan road, but only when it's open. Navigate PacMan onto the entrance in the bottom screen, and he will automatically resize and charge around the top screen, encountering anything on the road.
The top screen also houses ghosts and switches that aren't on the PacMan road. These items can only be encountered when you have the arrow. Shoot the arrow from the bottom screen onto the top screen to flip switches and to knock ghosts onto the bottom screen where PacMan can gobble them up. Once PacMan has managed to get all the ghosts to the bottom screen, and has eaten them all, the level is over.
This game is a fantastic rewrite of the PacMan genre. Although I've played - and enjoyed - PacMan World when it came out, I saw it as more of a PacMan flavored rewrite of your typical 3d games of the time - Spryo the Dragon, etc. It didn't really seem like a PacMan game. It was more of an adventure game starring PacMan. This game is ALL PacMan (accept no substitute!). It feels like you're playing the original PacMan, except it's been rewritten to take advantage of both screens and all of the amazing new features of the Nintendo DS system.
Don't think it's easy - though. I'm on Level 8, and I just can't seem to beat the boss (yes, did I mention there were bosses?). This particular boss sits on the top screen taunting me to knock him down, and spits ghosts onto the bottom screen. I have to eat them, shoot the boss, and prevent PacMan from dying by traveling offscreen all at the same time. It's quite challenging!

Very fun game! I love it, as it is not too easy, but not too hard either...great as a gift for children with a brand new Nintendo DS, as it helps them get used to the idea of a touch screen, and having to concentrate on the top screen, and the bottom at the same time! A definite great buy. ^_^
!

I almost passed this game up thinking it's another lousy Pac Man game like Pac n Roll. I hated Pac n Roll because of it's difficulty with the controls and it was in 3D which I found out I hate.
PAC PIX is not in 3D and you get to draw your Pac Man and watch him move and eat up the monsters. Really neatest thing I ever saw!!
I'm on Book 1 level 11. It is such an addicting game with high level of frustration as you go into higher levels but I'm enjoying it and not giving up!!
This game is all stylus usage! No buttons to use. Glad I got this game! Should be fun for all ages.
