First of all i love the fantastic four out of all of the marvel teams they are my second favorite(my first favorite is the x-men). This game with all of its good intentions falls a little flat; the controll is a little medocre sticking, the human tourch is probably the worst to control because he floats and hovers witch makes cotroll difficult.Button mashing has been overused special moves and attacks should be simmalr to Marvel Ultimate Alliance(Quick and Easy). Invisable Woman, Mr. Fantastic, and The Thing were awsome to control. All the extras should be unlockale with special codes,(the cheat coads did not work). The action and the beatem up action was awsome but with all of these problems the game its only worth a rent. hopefully the sequel will be alot better, even Fantastic!
PLEASE!!!

Here's another superhero game that has nice graphics, but game play really sucks! First off, the game is a button masher without any rhyme or reason as to which buttons execute what powers; not smooth and controlled like in X-MEN LEGENDS/MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE/JUSTICE LEAGUE HEROES games. It felt like I was going to break my controller! And it seemed as though the uptake was really slow, you know you press the punch/attack button and there seemed to be a slight delay, so you end up pressing buttons in an absolute frenzy trying to get the characters to respond quicker. Very frustrating!
The other problem is the game's camera, which likes to zoom in on irrelevant things for no reason at all. Also, some areas are really dark and there are small cracks that you can fall through, maybe this is a bug in the game, but not good.
Another thing is that the box claims that you play as a team, but most of the missions you are exploring either by yourself or in pairs and you don't get to choose who you want to be.
If you really want to play a fun game as the Fantastic Four get MARVEL UTLIMATE ALLIANCE.
I understand the sequel to the FANTASTIC FOUR movie will be in theaters soon. If the powers that be were smart, they would've chosen either Ravensoftware or Snowblind studios(makers of X-MEN LEGENDS/MARVEL UTLITMATE ALLIANCE and JUSTICE LEAGUE HEROES respectively) to create the next game. If not, they better insist that Activision follow their lead (ironically, Ravensoftware falls under the Activision umbrella but I think that Activision is the distributor and not the maker of the X-MEN/MARVEL games).
Perhaps this is actually Marvel's responsibility. They should really pay attention to customer reviews and find gaming companies that create fun and enjoyable games, rather than more crap like this. By not doing so, Marvel is really alienating their fan base.
Not all that fantastic...

The graphics seem dated and rushed. The gameplay was laborious and after 30 minutes I simply could not play anymore as it seemed I was wasting my time. I was playing with two player option, but the second player wound up always having to be a robot. The second stage was having each character escape from the hospital and fight off robots and solve puzzles to open doors; I don't rememeber any of that in the movie. I would not recommend.
FANTASTIC...FaNtAsY?

You are on the final level of the game. You have mummies, dogs, dinoaurs, and Dr. Doom all hitting you, leaving no space to move a finger. You try jumping but they just keep attacking you. You have 50% health left, and the puzzle is only one fourths of thw way done. A mummy attacks you with his light saber. "Game Over". That is all I could remember while playing this game. I think that this is one of those one button games. I used the square button more than I used the joysticks. This game is good for those who have little ones, but not for over the age of 13. Rental suggested, buying not reccomended.

There are many, many things (oh, where to start) that make this game horrible. First, (hmmmm, I have to collect my thoughts) this entire game is button mashing. You can beat the game just hitting square, square, square. Except for the boring little mini-games where you just hit, and Im not joking here, X as fast as you can.
People praise the fact that you can switch between two characters, but I never saw a need for this, unless I needed one character to do one of those stupid pointless puzzles. But really I would just switch between characters because I got tired of using the Thing and wanted to use Mr. Fantastic.
The graphics are incredibly horrible and choppy. The game is an eyesore. Please, please, please dont buy this game. Its for your own good.
Save your money the new X-men game is here

This was by far the worst game I've ever bought. If you don't believe me please just rent it and see for yourself. I loved the comic as a kid and though the movie wasn't great it was Citizen Cane compared to this pile. The character movement was difficult the missions were repeative and the game was just generally boring. Seems like they rushed this game out just for the movie.
worth a rent, then a purchase

All I have to say is this - Waste of Time.
Considering this game is made by the same people that created X-Men Lengends, this game was a grave disappointment. The characters were cool enough to control, but I found the game play to be terrible.
The cameras were set-up so poorly. They were designed so you could orient yourself around the character - good luck.
At one point during the Moleman mission, the game was so poorly set-up that going down a simple tunnel can take several minutes (for those of you with the patience to get this far, know what I'm talking about)
There are so many glitches, like backpacks just floating around the streets, boulders floating aimlessly over your head, and various other annomolies which I'm sure were not intentional.
And the co-op game play, which I was really looking forward to was not worth the effort. You only get to play as 2 of the 4 characters at a time, so which ever controller you're holding, you're stuck with that character. And because you are limited to the distance your characters can be from one another, if one of you is a one and and the other opposite, well, all and all, you're gonne get screwed - so lets just say it was easier playing in single-player. (But in single-player, you're looking from so low on the ground, good luck to seeing what is above and ahead of you.)
All-in-all, I had so many problems with this game, lets just say I returned it to the video store and rented a Lord of the Rings game instead, which, by the way, did not have such a poor set up that missions had to be played more than once.
A Fantastic Game

I loved this game. it was fun and the characters we're awesome. I liked all the cool missions of the game too. True half of the game wasn't from the movie but it was still fun. You got to fight FF Classic Villians, we'll almost. I mean you realy didn't go into battle with Mole-Man Or Puppetmaster. I think the best Villian was Dr. Doom. They should've had more story to him(Oh, Well). Overall it was a cool game. All of the FF Heros had cool combo attacks and super Moves. I enjoyed Playing The Thing & Mr. Fantastic. The Human Torch was kind of hard to fight with, because he was always flying. & The Invisible Woman was not so bad. They did a good job making the characters look like the Actors)Espcially The Invisibale Woman). All of the levels were fun too. The last level with Doctor Doom was pretty hard. But this was such an exceelent game.
