i got this game in the mail a couple days ago my kids instantly open he package without me and they have not put the game down since it arrived we originally bought it for my 8 yr. old who is with his dad this week but his older brothers (18 and 16) have been (testing) it out for him b4 he comes home from his dad. needless to say they enjoy it. i got to play it a little yesterday and i gotta say it is addictive and it so easy for D.S. illiterate me to play. i dont normally get into those kind of games or any games for that matter but this 1 becuz it was so easy for me to comprehend i got a kick out of watching the ball go up and down and seeing my score go higher and higher. i know that i know my 8 yr. old will enjoy it as well in fact when he is home i might have to hold back the other 2 so he can have his turn hahaha im sure i will have to remind the other 2 we bought it for lenny hahaha

This game is very fun. I love pinball video games. This is as good as they get. I also love Metroid. This is also a great Metroid game. I usually do not put emphasis on graphics, but this game is absolutely beautiful. Play this game.

Fun game. The free rumble pack is cool but ultimately merely a battery waster.

This is such an awesome game - so addictive -- and I am a 59 year old grandma - my grand kids love it when I show up with my Nintendo DS...

Too complicated

Metroid Pinball is a well executed game with smooth play and good graphics. But it is just too complicated for a pinball game. There are too many non pinball modes that had me reaching for the manual to figure out what to do. I would rather they give us more table layouts than just the 2 in the game. In my opinion, portable games should be simple and easy to pick up. This game was by no means simple.

Fun, but hard.

I loved this game from the start, but I was never able to get past the first two tables. It might be just a touch on the hard side.

Everyone is entitled to opinions.

I'd say this game is quite fun. It keeps me occupied for a while when I am just sitting around. I recommend it to anyone who gets bored easily because if you enjoy pinball this is the game to get.

Samus and pinball, and it works

Before she blasted her way on the DS with Metroid Prime: Hunters, Nintendo released this pinball game to help tide anxious fans over. Yes, it's Samus and pinball, combining for a wonderfully fun marriage on the DS with Metroid Prime Pinball. Anyone who hasn't been living under a rock for the past decade and a half knows that one of Samus' powers involves her ability to morph into a ball. Well, guess what the ball is in this game. That's right, and thankfully, Metroid Prime Pinball provides excellent physics, odes to the series, and all the gameplay elements that make pinball such a fun game on it's own to begin with. Almost everything in the game takes advantage of what the DS can do. From the sharp graphics and the inclusion of a rumble feature, Metroid Prime Pinball is a real treat. The only drawbacks of the game come from the sometimes awkward control scheme which requires you to tap the touch screen to shake the machine, as well as the fact that there is only one multiplayer table and Wi-Fi capabilities are non-existant. All that aside, Metroid Prime Pinball delivers the goods that Metroid and pinball fans would come to expect. Even if you're not a Metroid fan but are looking for a great pinball game to play for your DS, look no further.

Pretty cool

I like this game. I agree that the split screen can be a burden when a lot of other stuff is going on, but I think it's a cool concept. As of this writing I have only made it to the artifact area once and it was annoying to not be able to save where i was.. But it's a pinball game and I am looking forward to finding out what else is there once I get better at it. I also cannot figure out the wall jump thing, or what the point is because if you collect all artifacts then you can precede to the artifact area.
