Better than Baulders Gate: Part2!!

Okay, well don't listen to Mr. Conner from Ohio.... I love this game.... I just bought it last week w/ my boyfriend & I must say the Boise, Idaho has the best description of this RPG game. I found Baulders Gate: Dark Alliance (part 1) & loved it & couldnt wait for Part 2 to come out, BUT it let me down. This game was meant for Baulders Gate part 2... so much better in many ways. Putting off part2 of B.G. was so annoying(the waiting(suppose to come out in October but came out in Jan.)). Champions of Norrath is designed by the same company like Baulders Gate & this is why I mean it should have been for part 2 of B.G.... So, I know this probably doesnt help w/ info, but its NOT overpriced at all the $50 is worth it & your time is worth it too... though the loading takes some time to (duh) load up but it isnt nearly as bad as B.G. part2!! B.G. part2 still good and everything, but if you like that game & LOTR games alike... you'll definitly want this game in your collection!!

Im not a real big fan of these kind of games but i decided to try this one and i love it! I cant play it for less thena few hours without craving more play time.I love all the different items you can find after killing the many different types of enemies.I recommend everyone try this game.You definatly wont regret it!!

I played Baldur's Gate for PS2 and loved it and then received this game as a gift because it is a similar role playing style game. I love this game! I love the customization of your player and the numerous weapon and armor customizations. Great game for a great price. I usually get bored with stuff quickly but I keep playing this one over and over because although the story is the same, you can make the game different by using a different race or selecting different spells.

Champions/ Return to Arms is the sequel, and you can import your character from this game into the sequel. Very cool!

I sm the cousin of Luke Ramsey from West Virginia. I played this game over his house and it is by far better then Diablo 2 I mean he says I am obsessed with Diablo 2 and I say I'm not. Anyway I only played this game for about an hour and it is the best RPG fighting game i have played in my life.

First let me say, I liked this game and I have played it a lot. I would say that the greatest disadvantage of this game is its lack of imagination and its repetitive nature. Some have not liked the camera view but that is one of the things I liked about this game. I prefer the top down view over third person or first person. Snowblind had to use the top down view in order for up to four people to play. I do not like the split screen view that a lot of Xbox games use when people play in coop mode. The greatest advantage of this game is up to four people can play as a team without using the internet. I have gotten a lot of people hooked on this game because of that. Very difficult to find coop games that don't force you to use the internet. So its not a great game but if you want something to do with your friends one cold wintery day you should go check this game out from the local Hollywood Video store. You might be surprised.

I bought Champions of Norrath, after I had just finished Final Fantasy XII, which I loved and throughly enjoyed playing the entire game.
I was looking for another RPG that would hopefully equal FFXII or maybe even be better. The story is alright but didn't draw me in as much
FFXII did. The major problem I have with it is the battle mechanic, smashing on the X button seems more like a side by side fighting game
mechanic. Another issue I have with this game is that it is not playable from a 3rd person perspective. You just can get enough of your
surroundings on screen. Again other games have solved this, so not sure why this one keeps you a mile away looking down on your character
in order to be able to play with a reasonable amount of perspective.

PROS: Detailed armor, and weapon visuals are nice, and the character sometimes has some funny quips.
CONS: All in all it is fun, but the fun parts don't make up for the repetitiveness of the battle mechanic and the camera angle being so far away.

Very similar to Bauldrs Gate 1 and 2. In this one you can modify your character and you have the option to play 4 players unlike the Baulders Gate's. Otherwise very similar, but easier than Baulders Gate 2.

This game is great. The graphics, sound effects and the music all come together to make an enjoyable game. I was so addicted to this game, I just had to finish it. The only thing I didn't like was the money situation. After a while you have so much money its crazy, and the shop keeps don't even sell really strong items. But that's nothing, buy this game!
