i like this game very much. i have played 3 1/2 levels so far and enjoyed it alot. i have not found any problems playing it yet. i think other kids will love this game like i do.

I have a 9 year old son who has ADHD and mild autism so it can be really hard finding games that he'll sit down and really play. This game is great! He loves it. We bought it 6 days ago and every minute he's awake and at home he's playing it. I give this game 5 stars because it's really hard to get my kids attention but this game did. He loves how you can customize your guys and the whole game is easy to understand.

This is the first Lego Star Wars game I have played on the DS and I just am not enjoying it too much. I played the original game on the PS2 and thought it was the best game since ICO. The controls on the PS2 were perfect. Now this game on the DS is well, not so perfect. The firing controls are tough and basically you just have to aim near the item to hit it. But often it's not that easy to aim.
On the DS you do not use the touch screen to control the characters, you use the directional pad. This makes crossing narrow platforms SLOW work. The low resolution of the DS screens also leaves a lot of the fun graphics to the imagination. Don't get me wrong - I love the DS.
My opinion - buy Lego SW II for a non-portable system if you want the best experience. For on the go types, the DS will keep you busy but you will be missing out a little.

THIS IS AN ALL AROUND GREAT GAME. HOWEVER THERE A SOME GLITCHES (ESPECIALLY IN THE JABBA PALACE LEVEL. ITS COOL HOW YOU CAN UNLOCK ALL THESE CHARACTERS.
2 MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT IT IS A GREAT GAME FOR AGES 7-12 IF YOU LIKE LEGO AND OF COURSE STAR WARS.

This game doesn't have that many bugs. I have only found one. Most of the levels are difficult but you can get past them.

Yes this game suffers from some graphics flaws. I have seen two main flaws:

1) The camera doesn't always follow your character very well. For instance sometimes your character will enter a room and the camera will stay outside until you walk you character about half way into the room. This can cause some blind fighting for a few seconds. But, remember one of the first things Obiwan taught Luke was to use his light saber with the blast shield down.

2) Occasionally your character disappears for a few seconds. You need to walk the character forward and he/she will reappear.

With those two main drawbacks the game still manages to be very fun. My two sons (6 & 4) still love the game. I also find it rather fun to play.

I think this game is lots of fun. Sure, there's lots of glitches, but they don't REALLY get in the way.But I guess you have to be like me to like this game. Do whatever you want; I have my views, you have yours. I dunno, I guess you should play it before buying it, just to make sure.

Help in Rancor pit

In the rancor pit, even though you can't get to it on free play, on story mode, you can get under the MIni Kit and do that double-jump-attack and you will jump higher to reach that. SO IT IS NOT UN-PLAYABLE.
