I have played several 007 games and this one is the worst.Tomorrow Never Dies is alot more fun. There are several things you can not do in The World Is Not Enough that you can do in Tomorrow Never Dies. You can not do stunts and stealth attacks
you can not shoot out windows and blow up things, the enemies do the same thing every time you kill them, the levels are not very detailed and they are very hard and worst of all, there are no good cheat codes for this game.I do not reccomend this game to anyone!

A slap in the face to James Bond

With difficult controls, lousy graphics and repetitive music, this game is a mockery of the great James Bond.Don't waste your money on this worthless shooter-if you want REAL James Bond, buy the movies instead.

Definately not GoldenEye

Although this isn't a bad game, this game is a far cry from Nintendo 64's GoldenEye. It has no multiplayer mode, a limited arsenal and presents no real challenge. So if you've never played GoldenEye, you'll probably like it. But if you have, don't expect the same level of game play ( i recommend renting first)

This in my opinion is not a very good game! It has poor graphics poor gameplay and does not follow the storyline! Some of the mission are so ridiculous that there not even worth trying!

No multiplayer yes no multiplayer! This is a bad version of the game! If you want a good version of this game get it on N64 it has multiplayer and alot of others!
This in my opinion is not good!

The Nintendo 64 version was much better-It had better controlls,Better graphics and Most of all had MULTIPLAYER!,Everything in the PS1 version just simply sucked apart from it had better Audio.
But don`t get me wrong neither versions stood up to Goldeneye, and to this day no Bond game does(Latest Bond game is From russia With love).

TWINE(PS1):5.2-MEDICRE
TWINE(N64):8.4-GREAT
GOLDENEYE:9.3-SUBPERB
Perfect Dark:9.5/10-Better than Goldeneye!

Not up to the usual standards for Commander Bond

It's fun but that begins to wear thin after a while. It lacks real depth and imagination. It obviously was packaged and marketed to coincide with the film. Unfortunately the product should have been properly developed to meet the needs and expectations of 007 fans. This is quite a letdown for Commander Bond.

If you're gonna do a 1st person shooter...

OK, I admit I haven't gotten far enough in the game yet to give a complete & fair assessment, but it has been frustrating so far. I actually rather liked Tommorow Never Dies (the game moreso than the movie--The World is Not Enough was a better movie than TND but neither top GOLDENEYE in Film or game format) myself... but if you're gonna do a 1st person shooter; SHEESH! The makers of The World is Not Enough could have taken a few lessons from the creators of Medal of Honor and MoH Underground for starters...much smoother weapons control in those 2 games; it took me awhile to get used to the all-digital control of this latest 007 game and left me longing for the inovative analog-digital combination of the MoH series...they DID however, adopt one convention from MoH that is annoying...namely the terrain is not nearly as destructable as it was in Tommorow Never Dies...no more blasting out full plate glass windows, overhead lighting, etc...at least not if the 1st mission in Bilbao, Spain is any indication. I LOVED that feature in Tommorrow Never Dies and similar games like Syphon Filter 1 & 2. Blowing things up was half the fun of Tommorow Never Dies...I feel robbed! Anyway, I may change my mind after I get along further in the game, but for now this latest James Bond game is a big disappointment.

Great game

This game is really fun. I really liked how it incorporated clips from the movie and how much it really follows the plot line of the movie also. Cool gadgets, not much thinking involved, though. It's a great game for someone who just wants to veg out and shoot people with a silenced walther ppk. Or if that's not your bag, then you could always try out one of the few different machine guns. I would have liked to see more guns.

The game is just enough...

"The World Is Not Enough" (TWINE) is a good game...not a great game but it has its fair share of thrills and spills and mayhem. GOOD POINTS: Bond is as slick as ever. The voice talent is top notch for the main characters and the whole game is tied together nicely with movie clips. Several features make game play easier such as auto targeting, easy control patterns and simple interactions with items (a green grid appears with objects you are to interact with). There are also a huge array of cool gadgets that you get to play with throughout and use of these objects is fully explained. Missions are carefully explained and easy to follow. There is a wide variety of tasks at hand...everything from stealth missions, black jack, hostage resue and missions where you are not only permitted, but expected to basically mow down everyone in sight. Lets face it...while its not Bond's style to enter a room guns a-blazin' everyone knows that is what makes action/first person shooter games fun. But, the variety makes it more interesting and the backgrounds are very nicely put together and attention to this detail is evident. Weapons, ammo and gear are ample and easy to find which makes it easy to blow things away...uh, I mean it makes it easy to reach your objective... BAD POINTS: While the backdrops are nice, the characters that you interact with are usually choppy and square. There is also alot of breakup when you get close to objects which can seriously interfere with gameplay. Also, while the main voice talent is good, some of the other characters basically repeat the same thing over and over. For example, in one mission you will hear "Ahhh, good afternoon Doctor Arkoff" about 20 times and God forbid that you die and have to listen to that over and over again. Also, the music, which is the main Bond theme, is looped and plays non-stop throughout the game. Believe me, it makes you want to scream after about 15 minutes of gameplay. Turn down the volume if you want to save your sanity. The biggest problem with the game is the alarmingly short levels. You can easily finish the game in one sitting and replay value is seriously limited as a result.

In conclusion, TWINE is a good game. It's fun to sneak around and kill things with cool gadgets and weaponry. Missions are clear cut and easy to follow and the game, which is tied into the movie, moves along at a quick pace...but that is also part of the problem...the game moves along a little too quickly. This game will never be considered one of the best actioin/first person shooter games but I don't think it was ever meant to be...if it was meant to be fun and entertaining then it has suceeded.
