I HATE THIS GAME

1 Rating: 1, Useful: 1 / 12

This review is hard to write because I am so mad that I wasted my money on this game. Oh whoopie, you can play as Zero the fighter, butt zero is how much I should've payed for this game. There isn't one thing about this game that I like. The story [is bad] and the fight and graphics are absolutely awful. If you want a real game, don't waste your money on this. Don't even rent this game. This game is so bad it make Pong look good.

Did Anyone Else Find it Tedious

This X game was just tedious. I remember the original X game on the SNES was fun, as were X2 and X3, but this one was just bad. Playing as X or Zero was fun, but Zero was hard to control and both storylines were, well, boring. I was almost to the point of yawning. Plus, it was easy to figure out who the final boss was for anyone who has ever played an X game. Additionally, some of the upgrades to Xs armor made him harder to operate, and, well, I guess what I really want to say is this was boring. I was bored stiff. I couldn't wait to beat it so I could move on to something else. Unlike X, X2 and X3, there is almost no replay value in this game. I mean, beyond the cheat codes for the special X armor and Dark Zero, nothing. I only hope that X5 and X6 are better, but I'm not sure if they will be.

Solid Mega Man

By owning this game, you can trust what i have to say about the game. I enjoy mega man games emminsely and have played almost all of them to date, and i think this one keeps the beet going on. Like X3 you are mega man going aroung fighting a certain number of cybernetic animals in futuristic worlds. Unlike most mega man's you have seen, in X4 you can choose to be either Mega Man or his friend Zero. Zero is a little difficult to get the hang of because he uses a sword, not the X-buster. What is neat is you still are looking for those capsules that give you enhancment parts to your suit. One little bump in the road for me is the endless amount of "Final" Bosses. It seems to necer end, there are literally over 7 bosses you half to fight after you defeat the normal bosses. But i throughly enjoy this game as i do most mega man's, and i would reccommend this to any hardcore mega man fan, like myself:)

Mega Man struts his stuff in another sequel

Many people are tired of Mega Man and his dozens of games, but those people are also missing out on a great gaming experience. This is one of his best and it would be a shame to pass up. Sure the gameplay is basically the same as before, but what's wrong with that? The graphics and sound are still great and the story is more serious than other games in the series. Don't miss out on this.

First X game to hit a 32 bit console, and yes they did a DAMN good job

I didn't give it 5 stars because, quite franky, they could have done better. I mean X1 and X2 were much better so it shows that they have to be able to do better.
Good game, good price, if you haven't played it... play it now

This is the coolest MM game for the playstiation. I love the cool grafics and Zero is sooooo cool, i like how you get difrent weapons if you are Zero compared to Mega Man, the only thing that isn't too great is that it dosn't have anithing too arringinal, like the screws in MM8, or the awsome robots for mmx3, but it is soo fun...i hope they come out with mmX5 for playstation 2... PS>>> MegaMan Legends stinks, i dont think that they should have made megaman look soo stupid :( PPS>>> If you dont like the other MMX games, youll probobly wont like this one, except it has a million cheats

This game is really a lot of fun and is probably the best X game for the PS (X5 was too easy, and I haven't played X6 yet). This game has my favorite character from the X franchise, Zero, as a fully playable character. The cut scenes are well animated, but the dubbing is hideous. Even so, I had fun with it. I have beaten it with X, but I just can't quite do it with Zero. Zero is stronger than X, but also harder to control. Once you pick a character, you are him for the whole game. Of course, I did cheat, but who cares? Why not try without a cheat code next time. That's what made it easy. Here's hoping the best will happen for X7!

Pretty Good

This is probably my favorite Mega Man X game. Becasue you can play as Zero. Its kinda easy with X, but the final boss with X is hard, but easy with Zero. This Mega Man game requires a little bit of skill before you play as Zero. (If you want to test Zero out, then you can always try X3 or X5, but in X3 he only has his Z-buster.) The story is great, and the animation scenes are very nice. But the voice acting is pretty bad. The endings are kinda crappy, but in every X game I've beaten the ending needs work so I'll let it slide, just have fun. I would recomend this to anyone who is a fan of the series. Its great, and Zero has a much larger role, where as in X3 you called on him and he only came once, well in this you get to be Zero through the whole game! However, be careful who you choose at gamestart. If you choose Zero you can never play as X, unless you start a new game. If you choose X then you can't play as Zero. Zero gets NO capsules, so if you are very expierienced at this game then choose Zero. If you're a beginner, then I'd recomend X. But its your choice. Again, there are four capsules. (in all the stages at the top on the selection screen) but they aren't very easy to get. Great game, much better then some of the previous ones (though X2 was really good)
