This game is soooo fun, but sooooo many bugs. You think thats nothing? Trust me, what a pain in the bum. Glitches, stalls, ugh. I have two copies for playstation and both have the same problems. YET, if you buy it knowing and expecting bugs, or if it's ever re-released without them, this could be your favorite game ever. Puzzle action without being lame...so grinchy.

Simply, I love this game. I played it as a demo when it first was released, then rented it from a video store to play. I never was able to finish the game bc shortly after my ps broke, now that I am up and running, the purchase of The Grinch was a great add to my collection. I love this puzzle filled game.

Let's see... Breaking Presents! Very exciting!

NOT! I can't believe I bought this game years ago and it's still addicting to still Christmas. Do not get this game. It's a horrid game. It's only fun when you have the gadgets since they are too hard to build. If someone beats this game, please send me photos of the gadgets.

The Grinch

The grinch was a fun game and full of excitement and adventure....i loved it so much! if you are looking for a game thats a challenge and full of surprises then this is the game for you! Any way thanks for the game and i hope that you like this game as much as i did :)

I Have Had It For A While....

and I finally beat it. Some people may think it's impossible to beat. There are easier games, but that's besides the point. The graphics are just like any other PS1 game. There's so many tasks in this game. That is what makes it cool.

The Grinch loses all his blueprints for his gadgets while planning to steal Whoville's christmas. He has to search in 4 environments to obliterate everything to complete several tasks in Whoville, the Whoforest, the dump, and Who Lake. and retrieve these blueprints to create his Rotten Egg Launcher, Slime Gun, Rocket Spring, Octopus-climbing device, Marine Mobile and Grinch Copter. That's the basic object of the whole game. If you complete enough tasks and destroy enough gifts, you can open up 3 "sup-a-dows" which are doors that lead to cool games inside the Grinch's lair up on Mount Crumpit. The first one has a bunch of poles that you swing from to get to the finish line in the limited time. The second one is where you just smash as many pumpkins as you can and try to beat your time. The third one is where you just fly with the Grinch Copter through rings to the finish line in the limited time. All 3 of them have limited times. Later on, you can take a sleigh ride to stop Santa! I got 100 percent. Games like "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" for PS2 was much easier and I only beat that in a couple of days. "The Grinch" will take a lot longer, but it's worth playing for the fun of it.

i have over 22 games at my house for my playstation1. the best game i have ever played was the grinch. there are only 4 levels to be honest and it took me less than a week to get there. but heres the catch:
by the time i got to level 4 i was only 30% of the way done. there are sooooooo many tasks on each level and you need to get to other levels first and then go back. many parts of the game are confusing but with some walk thru cheats (aol key word: the grinch playstation game cheats) you will get the hang of it within a short amount of time. my mom plays it, i play it (im 13) and my 10 year old sister plays it too. we play together to figure things out.
on the package it says 1 or 2 players... it lied:)
i give the game 10 stars so does the rest of my family:)
the graphics are amazing

This game is so fun it is so green, so cool, and so Christmas! There are 4 levels, each with 6 missions. The first world has 500 presents, second and third 750, and final 1,000. I used to play it all the time with my dad on Sega Dreamcast. I love to play it, and that`s why I am getting this for Christmas!

With Christmas upon us,and gift-giving near,Here's a sure way to ruin holiday cheer:Buy The Grinch,slip it under the tree,Wrap it up nice,then snicker with glee.For nothing will dampen a child's joy Like receiving an utterly worthless toy.Konami's new game may have good intentions,But nothing disguises its poor animations.With graphics unpolished and gliches aplenty,Pop-up and seaming and mistakes elementary,Levels so barren,backgrounds so bland,Horribly ugly-it's just out of hand!Yet The Grinch is more than a loathsome eyesore,For the gameplay is an annoyingly awful chore.The sluggish control is no Yuletide treat,The simplest task is a thumb-numbing feat.Moments so cheap it isn't fair,Collision-detection that's beyond repair.The voice-acting's soild, the music is charming,But still the game is simply alarming.Avoid The Grinch-it's without hope, Or foist it on a child if you're a true misanthrope.

I love this game 'cause im just one of those people who sing jingle bells in the middle of the summer cause i love the christmas spirit. when i saw this i thought, hmmmm, ITS MINE but there are a few downs like its really hard to do something but while you are doing it it is fun! Its not that good when it comes to following the story line but other than that you can be the grinch, max, and.... well the grinch and max. I give it 5 stars because its just a christmas..ie kind of game!
