This game is so cool, you get to drive the general lee & honk its horn when you jump. The intro is great it's kinda like the real TV show. But the only thing is that luke & bo look kinda funny but otherwise this game is awsome Yeeeeeeeeehaw!

This was a really good game. The graphics are amazing, the music is fun and the dialouge is great. It felt like playing in a real episode of dukes. The game is really hard once you get to the end, because black jack is fast as hell. This is a great game. It is worth the money you pay for it. Buy it soon. You'll be happy.

this is one of the best games.it has over 30 missions and great cars in the two player mode. you have to outrun the law whille you chase down the bad guys that kidnapped Daisy. you are also in 2 overland races: the first one is a race to get 20,000 dollars to save uncle jessie`s farm, the second one is to save daisy from Black Jack Peril (uncle jessie`s old rige-running pal.)
you even get to ridge-run in uncle jessies old car. But most of the time you are in the genral lee. this is a game that should be on evreyones list

I waited forever to play this, and found out that it stunk. The car was easy to handle, and drove well. But as the game progressed, it didn't become more difficult. I was hoping it would be more challenging. I actually got to memorize the roads some. I played it beginning to end in less than four hours. I did enjoy having many of the cast of the TV show reprise their roles for the voice-overs in the game.

Return to Hazzard.

The DUKES OF HAZZARD was one of my favorite television shows when I was a young kid. It had everything a kid wanted in a television show cool cars, awesome car chases, cops, bad guys, good looking country chicks, etc. Therefore, I bought this game more out of nostalgia than anything else. Nevertheless, I did enjoy playing it. The game was pretty easy except in the scenes when you are driving Young Jesse's car. Antique cars don't drive very well in real life and they drive even worse in video games. The animation isn't too bad (for a 1st generation Playstation game) and the car chase scenes spaced throughout the story are just plain awesome. This is a good game for beginning gamers, anyone who likes car chase games, and any fans of THE DUKES OF HAZZARD.

Not as Cool as I'd Hoped....

When I saw this game advertised in a magazine, I was counting the days 'til it's release. "Dukes" was my favorite show growing up. So as a Dukes fan, I was pumped. Then I rented it.

I beat the game in a couple of hours, despite the repetitive play and poor controls. In fact, the biggest challenge the game gave me was to be sure it hadn't cancelled my Analog light during the level transition (which it did frequently).

All in all, the excitement of a Dukes game carried it for the first couple of levels, then it just got boring. And howcome Roscoe can ram me like I'm standing still when I'm going full-throttle and just flipped him on his roof ten seconds ago?

The cool concept earns it two stars, but the poor gameplay trashes the rest. Hopefully there will be a sequel that will make this one look like a mistake. And how 'bout more of Daisy in the next one? Please?

The Dukes of Hazzard is a Cool Game that you can drive the General Lee In And Around hazzard If you aren't using the tree (or two) colored hook ups the color will be very good but if you use the hook up that cable goes through the color will look bad

I have never watched the "Dukes of Hazzard," but I did enjoy this game. It seems that many of the reviews are saying that it's really only worth playing through if you're a fan of the show. I guess I'm a counterexample to that theory. If you are like me and are not a hard-core gamer and really just get into the simple games that do not require hours and hours of gameplay to complete, this game is for you. The fact that it was simple, repetitive, and amusing made it the perfect game for me to blow a few hours with. This was one of the first video games that I have actually taken the time to complete, so that must say something for it. Although the graphics are not stunning, the cinematics that go with the storyline are just awesome. And if you can get used to the crummy graphics that come with the split screen, the two-player game "run the jug" is pretty fun, too.

The opening credits on this game bring back loads of memories and the room erupts in YEEEEEHAAAWWWWS!(even from the kids who have no clue what that means to us) The full version of the song is included with a visual trip through Hazzard, cartoon style. The caricatures of Bo and Luke leave a little to be desired but they get the point across. You can drive the General Lee or pick from other cars including a chicken truck, and Cooter's wrecker. There are plenty of hills to jump, corners to slide around and Enos is right behind you most of the way. There are boxes throughout the game that you have to collect which are kind of like power ups. Luke will hang out the window to shoot arrows at another car if you find the box with the arrows in it. There is a box to replenish fuel, a box to repair all the damage you sustain while you learn how to drive these babies, and then there's the horn. You get to play the horn over and over again and what Hazzard fan can honestly say that wouldn't make the game worth it for them? Well, that and Luke's passenger seat whining about how Bo is driving!!! If you like the Dukes of Hazzard, you'll enjoy this....if not it will do nothing for you.
