I like digimon just a little..but this game [is bad].Way to pokemon!You capture digimon,travel around and once they had this thing that said"I am the greatest digimon master!"It stinks.Also i hate season 2!(except for blackwargreymon and DNA digivolving)

I have found the DW2 to be on the boring side. There isn't much interaction with the digimon partners as I would like. The battles are not what I thought they would be; I find them to be extremely boring. I think this game is okay for the younger digimon fans but it is definately not for me. The graphics are impressive but the game as a whole "is not" but this is only my opinion. If there will ever be a DW3, if hope it will be more like DW1. I suggest renting the game before purchasing just to see for yourself if you really like it. Thank you for reading this and good luck with your digimon adventures.

i dont like this game becaus you get a game over in one try .i stoped playing this game on the 2nd boss.so dont get this game im sure you will regret it if you do.

Digimon World 2: Not worth your time

This game, although fun at first, gets very repetitive after a while. The cutscene at the beginning of the game is awesome, but It has almost nothing to do with the game. (Can't digivolve during battle.) This game would have rocked if you could digivolve during battle, like in the TV show.

GAMEPLAY 1/5

It is quite okay, except for DNA Digivolving. In the TV shows, they get stronger, for example, ExVeemon and Stingmon (both Champions) DNA Digivolve into Paildramon (Ultimate). But in Digimon World 2, for example, Meteormon (Ultimate) and Tankmon (Champion) DNA Digivolve to Gotsumon (Rookie)! And it will takes hours, days, week, months and maybe even years just to raise your digimon to the Mega level.

I rate it 1/5 because of something. Let's take an Agumon for example. Agumon's tech is Pepper Breath, but it says Baby Flame, which means Pepper Breath in Japan. And another thing (the example will be Agumon again), when Agumon use its tech, you can hear Baby Flame in a child tone, right? But once Agumon Digivolve to Greymon and learn Nova Blast, use Nova Blast and you can hear Greymon shouting "Mega Flame" (Nova Blast in Japan) in a fierce tone. But if Greymon use Pepper Breath, you can hear exactly the sound where Agumon use it, right?

Ok trully if you are a hardcore Digimon fan Add a star to that
but if you just like digimon keep that score. it fun to a point but gets boring after alittle while if you still want a digimon game get 3 instead!

A Good Game, but lacks in story.

Digimon World 2 is a good game for fans of games like Monster Rancher and Pokemon and of course fans of the Digimon Television show, but the story is lacking, well a story. You continue to go to different domains and battle different Digimon bosses, over and over and over. There isn't much thickness to the story at all. Over all it is a good game! Here is a break down in rating:

Lowest: 1.0 Highest: 9.5

Graphics: 9.0 Sound: 8.0 Control: 8.5 Story: 4.5 Overall: 8.5

The game is neat, the Digimon are cool, the Graphics are excellent, the story sucks but overall it is ok.

The second digiomon game!!!!!

If U like games and have a Ps2 0r Ps1 get the Game!!!!! This game is great. You can have more than one Digimon. You can even battle other tamers once you get a Regessteration Pass and battle in the place. You can choose the vriouse team, the data team or the vaccinne team. I picked the vaccine team and got augumon. but it took forever for him to become Greymon. Greymon still had augumon's baby vioce when he did Peper breath. The graphics are not bad but all the duegeon look alike. in the Bios Domain, before you fight the boss, u can capture Metal greymon. (which wuld save me a lot of work on greymon.) To beat the Bios domain, you digimon has to be at: Lv.11 -lv.16. Can U pleaze tell me how to capture metal greymon? That wuld help. I love the battle graphics because you can controll how your digimon fights. If your out of MP, use the gaurd command. It renews your Mp and cut's the opponent's ayttack by 3 or possibly more. you don't have to fight everytime, you can just run away so you can save your MP for the boss. Before going out on a mission, save. Also rookies elvove at lv.11, champions at lv.21, utalmites at lv31. When you dna you get a rookie or champion or urtamite depending on the level:
mega+ mega= urtamite.
urtamite+utramite= champion
Champion+ champion + rookies
champion + Utramite = Rookie
Mega + Urtamite = rookie
Mega+ champion = ????

The EPsucks. I was so close to the koritermon booss, that culd spit on him but Since I didn't have enough eP to move on I culdn't beat him. So i had to upgrade My EP by the mechanic. The max Ep you can have is 500. When you visit the Medatation Dome, talk to angemon and he will give you 2000 bits.
THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!! If you disagree, then your dump or mental. So quit lisstinning to me and buy this game!!!!

Great for young kids

This game is great for kids since it is not fast pace and it is mainly choosing attacks and so on. It has over one hundreddigimon but can get repetitive digimon battles are sluggish and also get repetetive. It is a very long game and has tons of differnt digimon. Overall it is a good game for kids who are interested in Digimon

Being a 15 year old game is sometimes hard in juding the cool game we get, but this game is the bomb! It might be hard but if you keep at is you'll be a digimon master! I highly recommand this game to all digi-fans and adventure game players! So far I havn't fuond a game exepet for the D-power Digivice that makes you think and actully have fun the whole time!
Here's alittle help for beginngers: In the game, wild Digimon are attacking the city, and you've been drafted to join the guards to fight, capture, and "digivolve" them. You're armed with a nifty creature vehicle called a Digi-Beetle, and you'll adventure through several midsize dungeons looking for, subduing, and ultimately capturing rampaging Digimon creatures. After you get them, you can trade them or merge them with your Digi-Beetle to give yourself new powers and abilities. For example, such a merging might increase your defense or attack power so you can explore more dungeons and capture more Digi-monsters.
