Get this game. I like the snow levels. A best greatest hits game. Here`s two codes: REPLAY BOSSES L1+L2+R1+R2+Triangle BLUE GEM ROUTE In turtle woods get no boxes. That`s all!

Graphics-wise, this is a vast improvement over the first game and the music is certainly better. It's certainly bigger as well, and is very addictive, though once you've finished it there's not much incentive to want to plough through it again. The game's major failing point is the mask-collecting aspect. Why can't the character have energy or something? Some of the later levels are very hard, and constantly being sent back to the last check-point after being hit just once is thunderously frustrating and becomes boring after a time.

Overall, however, this is well worth looking into, even if it's just for the amusing Cortex speeches (He sounds like Tom Baker, though I don't think it's him doing the voice).

This game has lots of advantages.The last game was good,but this one is better.The reason I gave it a four star rading is because it's hard.It's possible to do it without the guide,but impossible without a memory card.But you can like it.A good buy.

This game is great. I have completed it once but heard there is another ending if you get all the gems! Not only is it fun, it is a challenge. I gave it 4 stars (instead of 5) since I have not finished it completely.

C'mon! The game's pretty fun, but not when you have to play the same levels over and over and over again! Examples are "Road to Ruin" and "Ruination". They're the exact same thing! Sometimes I thought I already played a level, when I was on a whole new floor. The bosses are kind of easy, too... The only reason I'm giving this game three stars is because it's sort of funny when Crash gets abused (ex. getting stung by bees) and it's challenging to collect all the gems.

This is a must play game!

I like the 5 great warp rooms or levels because they have great doors that are fun to play. In some of the doors, there can be one or more secrets which take you to another secret warp room. There are other little catches. Like in the warp room, there can be a thing(s) that can give you some lives along the way. I think that is good cause then you have a better chance of winning the game. The bosses can be really challenging at times especially N Gin on warp room 4. He is in a robot and he uses lasers to try and get you. When he holds his hand out, you throw balls at it and it loses him lives. That is just one of the challenging bosses on this exciting game.

One giant step for the coolest marsupial around!!!

"Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" was a large step up from the first part. This game's graphics, music, gameplay, and even story were much better than in the first. But it's kind of weird how Crash Bandicoot doesn't end up staying with Tawna Bandicoot and instead ends up living with his little sister, Coco Bandicoot. Well, at least Coco has the ability to speak, unlike her big brother.The voice acting changed dramatically as well, and for the better(Dr. Neo Cortex's new voice was much cooler and evil-sounding). If you liked the first Crash game, get this one. Although it's more difficult(especially in gathering Crystals and Gems), it's really fun!

This is one of the best games I've ever Played. The only thing I don't like is how hard to get the colored gems are. I'll tell you where 4 of them are; for the blue, complete level 1 without breaking any boxes; for yellow, complete level 11 in the amount of time it gives you after you get the first checkpoint( between 50&70sec.);for purple, go to level 19. Go till you see the stairs with nitros on them. The nitros are fake, so jump to the top and you'll go to a secret part where the gem is. In level 10 go to where all the nitros are(andthe life is there). Go through the fake wall in the back to get to a secret area. complete the area and you get the green gem...

The first time I played this game I was hooked!. You start out in the warp room and progress through each of the levels in the warp room. Also the warp rooms are themed such as space,jungle,railroad, and more. Plus there are bosses,most of them from the first game. The only thing I didnt like was that the end where you have to fight Cortex, that was the easiest battle I ever did, all the other bosses were harder then that. over all I say Crash Bandicoot 2:The Wrath Of Cortex is a must buy for new to old gamers!
