Crash is back and tons more fun!!

Dr. Cortex this time is on Crash's side. ( Or is he?) You must get 25 crystals to save the Earth. 45 gems might also help. There is more than 4 bosses to beat. Jump, slide, and spin to get rid of your enemies. Graffics are great and so is the story line. If you like this game I also think you should get Crash Bandicoot Warped.

Improvement over original with same sassy style.

Crash 2 finds Crash easier to manuever and still having fun! Often sequels lose character traits, but not Crash. He's still crazy as ever. The game is fun for all ages!

Great game whether you're 8 or 80

I hadn't played a video game to any extent for probably 15 years when my son got this game for his birthday last year. He loved it and immediately started playing it, so I checked it out. I quickly became completely hooked. I have now beat all the boss levels and are going back and cleaning up the gems.

And that leads me to my second point. One of the best things about the game is that, even after you beat the game, there is still a lot to do. At each level, you collect boxes; you can get through the level fairly easily (thus earning the crystal), but to earn the gem you have to collect all the boxes. This is not easy! I beat the game (i.e. got all the crystals) within several weeks of playing the game; but I am still (months later) only up to 80% on the gems. There are sometimes boxes (or extra lives!) hidden just out of view, usually above the top of the screen. You certainly get your money's worth from this game.

The best levels, in my opinion, have got to be the jet pack levels, especially the final boss level where you take on Neo Cortex himself. The funniest levels, though, are the tiny polar bear levels - Crash sees the tiny polar bear, turns around and arches his eyebrows at you, and then hops on for a wild ride.

As far as family-friendliness, it's very high on the scale. There are no guns that you wield (though your foes sometimes shoot at you). The vast majority of the foes are either vanquished by jumping on them or "spin-moving" or "sliding" them (both of which just knock the opponent out of the way), or you simply escape from them. The only exception is the TNT boxes, which you jump on then have 3 seconds to escape before they explode. There are a few cases where you need to get rid of foes using the TNT boxes. The violence that is in the game is very cartoonish, however, with no blood or gore.

The graphics are a bit dated (being from 1997). Some kids may thus turn up their noses at the game. That's unfortunate, because it's a great game. Only playing the newest, latest thing is both expensive and gives short-lasting pleasures. The graphics are much better than the original Crash Bandicoot.

Will adults like it? I don't know, but they should: In my view, games unsuitable for kids are not actually suitable for anybody. In any case, *this* adult certainly does like it.

Get it, whether you're 8 or 80. You won't regret it.

Crash II is the coolest game I have ever played. I'm always challenged by the levels. There are five "warp rooms" with five levels in each room, which even my Dad can't do better than I can. I would highly recommend this for any kid AND parent! I am a girl who will be 7 in March, and think girls can love this game as much as boys can.

It's pretty average, but it's fun. It's impossible to win without a memory card, and very difficult. It has good graphics. I think Crash Bandicoot Warped is much better and more fun.

This game had me on edge most of the time.

I throughly enjoyed the game even though I can't seem to get past the rolling balls. Can someone give me a hint. Everything else is great especially the graphics and music.

Crash is back and ready for action! This is an awesome game! I love playing it. The graphics are cool and so is the music. There are all kinds of new moves for Crash in this game! He can jump a lot higher in this game then in the first. He can run a lot faster too. This is much more better than the first one. There's a bunch of new levels to try, new bonus paths-(new and improved: you can save after every level!) lot's of tricky puzzles and more bad guys to defeat, even some new bad guys, Crash's sister helps him in this one too. This is a must!

This game is extreamley well made. I don't think it beats the first game [ except the save system and N.gin boss ]. I say that the story and graphics are fairly made. I don't like Crash's new style, except his dance. Don't get me wrong, I think his style is always very well modeld. I think the level select is very nice, but I like games where you have to go in order. I thunk they made a mistake in not adding Tawnya [ I call her Twanya] to the story. She does not show up again till CTR. Bt, with each character in that game you play with, shows Twanya in a different costume when you win first place. I really think Twanya sholdn't be so little awknowlaged. After all, she played a huge part in the very beginning of all Crash's adventure. I will lkeave you a cheat. To re-fight bosses, hold triangle down as you go through a floor. THat's my re-view.

This game rocks! It's graphics are cool and at the begining a guy comes up and talks about what you are suposed to do on the level. And this game rocks even more it's better than crash bandicoot.

I have played Crash Bandicoot 2 through and it's a great game, but somtimes the 3-D graphics makes hard to tell where your going to land, besides that it's the best game, but it may be hard at first, and you have to get use to it because you never know what's around the corner!
