I have always been a good Mario fan, but I was so disappointed when I received this game. The game just isn't what a Mario game needs to be. Instead of "worlds" like 1-1 or 5-4, it's just an adventure about them saving the kingdom from aliens. ( Where did that come from?)
The controls are awkward. The game is definatly not fit for someone who gets aggervated easliy. I would also say the game is fit for ages 10+, strictly because the controls are that difficult.
Well, if you are a big fan of the origanal Mario Brothers, don't buy this game. If you don't really care, you might like it. But I really didn't.

this is a fun game.featuring a reasonable amount of cartoon violance, just like in other Mario and Luigi game.but it is not for VERY FRUSTRATED people.it is like a HUGE maze.it is like a gameboy advance game, no pen, or if so very little.i was going to write abot the DOWN SIDES but honestly in my opinion THERE ARE NONE.it gets pretty noisy with all the crying, battles, and such.if you dont like scary back round, aliens, and music try looking for another game mind you, their not TOO scary. But WOWWEEEE!i would rate it a 1,000,001!!!no blood is EVER SHOWN.
when somthing dies they just sort of poof-away.
(If lots of lava makes you tremble you`ll be shaking the house down!!!!!!)

the game stars the beloed mario and his brother lughi, but now there is a new batch of charicters than just mario and lughi.now there is there baby selves. becuse in this game you go back in time. the story starts with evil srooms who are aliens who are trying to find a new home. they fly off to earth. then you see dr. colbrot's time machine and he says "the time machine is run by the colbont star, there for we can go back in time." you use A and B for mario and lughi. you use x and y for the babys. you get them only when you finsh the first time hole. the spechal moves come when you finish cearan leavels. the specal moves are spin jump, ball, babys twist, drill, and hammer.you get beans in the game also you can only get them by using drill when there is an x on the ground. In the game Superstar Saga the player has to control just two characters but in Partners in time the player has to control four characters, sometimes the four characters will spilt into pairs so the player has to control either the babies or the adults.
The game starts out with the player playing as the babies to direct them to the room where baby Peach is playing, to their suprise baby Peach isn't there but kidnapped by baby Bowser and baby Mario has to fight him.
The game at first is hard to get used to but once the buttons are comfortable the game becomes easier. There are good and bad things about the game. The good things are the following: The new character, Stuffwell, because he is very informative, the chance to control just the babies and adults, the Bros. items make a very good aid in the game, and the dual screens make the game more fun and exciting. The bad things are the following: Stuffwell stops the game progress to tell you something, and if the player uses a Bros. item like cannonballers the player can't touch the buttons until the Bros. get close to the enemy that the player is attacking.the top screen shows you a map of where you are.

Mario e Luigi: Partners in Time is an RPG for the Nintendo DS, a system that I am continually glad I purchased. The game follows Mario, Luigi and their baby counterparts in a quest to save the Princess from aliens from the past that have kidnapped her. For those of you who have played Mario RPG or the Paper Marios, you'll find surprisingly similar game play with a few new twists. The adult brothers and baby brothers can act either independently or cooperatively for a unique gaming experience from the Mario RPGs. Add some spruced up dialogue with some interesting humor and nicely animated sprites, and you have Mario e Luigi: Partners in Time.
Now, for those of you who are fans of the stylus, you won't be too fond of this game. The touch-screen is virtually non-existent in this game, which handles more like a standard console game. Additionally, the puzzles will likely never stump you. A game focused more towards a younger audience, most of the puzzles are fairly straightforward and easy, relying more on an intuitive combat system to keep the game difficult. The game is also only capable of holding two saved games at a time. Not a problem if you're the only one who plays, but don't expect to be able to share it with many friends. Overall, the game is an interesting and enjoyable addition to the Mario RPGs, which is hard to put down.
I give Mario e Luigi: Partners in Time, an 8.7 out of 10.
Nintendo RPGs have always been and will always be my favorites

I haven't finished this game, though I'm quite close to it. I have to say that this game is quite possibly the most fun that I've had in a long time. I laughed out loud more than a few times, was nearly constantly smiling, and was thoroughly amused with all the little details. Not much stylus action, but then again... did you really expect there to be?
My boyfriend's highly considering getting a DS Lite simply so he can play this game.
He he he...not as funny

Just finished this game. It didn't take me as long to finish as with the first (Superstar Saga), but I was kind of happy to end it. I thought I was goin to pull all of my hair out when I had to fight the REAL final battal, but it was easy. Those who played all of the way through know what I mean.
I was expecting more laughs. The babys can get a little anoying, but they stop all the crying after a while. There were SOME good moments in this game. The boss battles are still fun, and the bros. attacks were fun. The badges that let you boost your stats are a nice addition as with the Cloths.
If you liked the first, you will still like this game. If you have only played Partners in Time, and have yet to experience Superstar Saga...you're missing out.

This game is very good and funny. My little brother owns this game, and when the babies cry its very funny. The game is very similar to Superstar Saga, but in this game you also use baby mario and baby luigi. It is very entertaining and easy to play. You take turns attacking the enemy. But also in this game, you also attack with koopa shells,so its easier. The point is that it is fun, funny, and enrolling.

While this may not officially be part of the "Paper Mario" game series, it does have a vary similar feel to Paper Mario for the N64. I loved that game. I love this game.

I got this game thinking it would be fun and addicting, it is very boring. All that you do is walk around and press a,b,x,y ,those are to jmp for different charaters. the graphics are bad. It's the worst mario game that I have ever played. If you are going to buy this game don't, it is a waste of money.it is confusing, boring, and bad,buy another game if you want a ds game.
