Starcraft.. old but still fun... *VERY FUN*

first of all, all you guys that think the old games like this suck, u r wrong. even though the graphics are so-so the gameplay is great! All serious gamers would love this. now this is not a game for little kids, it is hard to play. this should be a good game for tweens or teens... maybe even adults! If your like me and you play the computer version of this you will be a little dissapointed at first, but really its the same Starcraft we've came to know in love. If you have a short attention span or like games you can play for about 5 min. and then quit this game is not for you. This will take a long time to play a single battle and you will get frusturated sometimes. If your new to starcraft this is a must have, join me and 3 million people who are addicted to this game! if your used to the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, Xbox360 you will think at the beggining that this game is kinda bland, but once you start makeing armies, building a base a killing everything in an all out war... you realize... its worth it!

i love my next gen consoles and the great graphics and gameplay they offer but the classics are always enjoyable. i like to kick it old school. The game takes you through a simple progresion and training so even though the game has a lot to it it is manageable. In fact it might even show you RTS' aren't just for geeks, but are alot easier than u think. any way i wanted to add a reveiw that wasn't from 1999 so in conclusion this game rocks!!!!!!!

Great game if you don't have the PC version of it!

Since I just bought me a N64 four months ago, which costed me 16 bucks, I bought the Starcraft 64 game for it. Man it was ok, but it wasn't exact. The intense speeches given by the rebel Protoss to the council members are gone! And the awesome graphics to the mouth movements and vowel movements are gone also. Those are the only cons for the game. The pros are that you don't have to go and buy a fekking expansion for it, and the graphics are just as good as the PC version. It's not as cheap as the PC version, but hey, if you have the N64, get it, it's highly collectable. But if you want it to be exact, get the PC version.

I have this game for PC and it rocks. My friend told me about the n64 version and i thought that it was just going to be some crack pot dumb port with stinky graphics. But when my friend showed me it, it was against everything i had expected. You can choose from 3 different races, the mutated bug like zerg, the human terrain, and the alien protoss. they each have their own pros and cons. The graphics are excellent for nentendo, and gameplay is more than enjoyable. You need a expansion pack for multiplayer and better graphics, but if you compare this with other n64 games, you will Know that nentendo 64 used up all its graphics and sound to produce a great console port from the awsome starcraft and brood wars for PC. dont listen to people who just watch their friends play it, listen to the pros who auctually have experience and has mastered the game.

This game was brought out on computer, but it belongs to console! StarCraft 64 will blow your mind, with all the possoble outcomes, this one you got to have!

it is great i recomend this for any child over 8 it is very understanding but you neeed cheats so go to cheatplanet.com

this is a great game. i probably would get but i cant because it is nowhere! anyway this games comes with all three species terran,zerg, and protoss. it also includes missions from the original starcraft and brood war. also u can play multiplayer....

THere's alot of faults in this

1. ... price
2.COmputer version is better because its....
-cheaper
-doesn't lag as much
-you can play online
-you can make maps
-there's cheats

if you like sc.....GET THE COMPUTER VERSION MAN!

To this day I still play the expansion Brood War with my friends and step children. I have been playing computer games for years. Since 1986 actually. Warcraft was a great deal of fun but when Starcraft first came along I didn't like what I saw on the box (Strange alien graphics) so I didn't get it right away. My stepson finally talked me into and I haven't regretted it. It is absolutely the best game to sit down and relax and enjoy for a few hours. Not to thought provoking to give a headache but challenging enough to draw you back. I especially love it on battlenet with my friends and family. I have almost 800 wins online and we even started a gaming clan a few years ago because of this game. We now play many others, but we regularly go back to this one. One reason is when the internet is not kind to dial-up users this is one of the few games they can still play online.
