Back when 2-D fighter's were a dime a dozen, there were only a select few that stood out in both the arcades and the home consoles and "KI" in my opinion was at the very TOP of that list amongst other brawlers such as "Street Fighter- Alpha"/"The King of Fighter's"/"Samuri Showdown" and of course the insane fighting mechanics of "Guilty Gear".
"KI" I.M.O was one of the "Elite" games of this genre due to the fact that
you can't just press buttons and expect to beat the came, it's much more than that and takes skill, patience, quick hand-eye coordination and sometimes split-second timing just to perform some of the most basic moves
such as blocking/countering and so forth.
Don't let the dated graphics turn you away from this one, it's a "TRUE GEM" and rightfully belongs in any Fight fan's collection, if you can find a copy. I searched the WEB and when i did find a copy ( which was rarely)
the price tag was very steep,so if Amazon has any left- BUY A COPY !!!
Whether it's 2008 or 2020 K.I. has stood the test of time and will alway's be as innovative as ever-a classic in it's own right.
Imagine this redone right on the XBOX 360 OR PS3?? -----holynight1
