Bust A Move II

Nice games like this one are hard to put down. This game is just as addictive as Tetris. It is a very easy to learn, but very challenging puzzle game that is best enjoyed when played with a friend in multiplayer mode. Although the characters and storyline are cute, they get old FAST........VERY FAST... So, be warned that the only downside to this game is this.

Fantastically addictive!

If you like puzzle games (like hetrix or tetris) then you'll love bust-a-move. The name sounds like some cheesy rap song, but really the game is great. You get multiple colored bubbles that you must shoot at a collection of bubbles along the top of the screen. Given time, the bubbles pile up unless you combine 3 or more of the same color. When 3 or more of the same color bubble come together, they disappear; any bubbles hanging below the 3 you make disappear will then fall to the ground. If you're playing with a challenger, then those fallen bubbles go to the challenger's screen and muddle-up their playing feild. It's hard to describe without showing...so get this game! It is hours of fun.

The only thing I don't particularly care for is the single player action. If you want to proceed from stage to stage there are two paths to follow. One is the basic and the other is a little alphabetic maze that you can follow. Both are a little lame and geared for the younger player. I'm in my mid-20's and I love the 2-player action...but the single player games aren't so groovy.

Overall, though, I do have to admit that this game is worth getting. I've wasted many evenings playing this game. It's just too bad that no one will play it with me any more because I kick their booty!

not what I expected

I love Bust-A-Move II. But that isnt what you get if you order this game. Look closely at the picture under the title. It says "Arcade Edition". What you get is very different and less enjoyable than the real Bust-A-Move II.

great game, but it gets old

I rented Bust A Move 2 about 3 months ago and it was the first time I had ever played any Bust A Move game. The first night, I thought it was great. I had fun playing against the computer and against my older brother. I even thought about buying it later on because I liked it so much that first night. But after playing it two more days, I realized that unlike some Tetris games, it gets old quick. I played it on and off the last 2 days that I had it, but it just got old.

The graphics, sound, control, and gameplay are top notch for a puzzle game. The replay value is the only thing that suffers. It's fun playing against somebody else, but it even gets boring after awhile. If you are a diehard Bust A Move fan, you might want to get this game. However, if you haven't ever played a Bust A Move game, just rent it first and make your decision from there.

Awesome

I have no idea what people are talking about, the only Bust A Move 2 that isn't Arcade Edition is the Game Boy version. I haven't played the PSX version, but all I know is this game is fun. I used to rent till all the money I spent renting it could of bought me the game. Now both this and the PSX version aren't being made anymore, so I never got the chance to buy it. Anywho, this game is fun if you like classic Bust-A-Move. Plus now you can get puzzles that fill the whole screen rather than just the center.

Fun Game

I owned this game but it was lost in a move across country. I am very pleased with the seller's quality of merchandise and fast shipping.
