This is a good shooter but it is very short. Infact I took 3 or 4 hours and beat the whole tournament season, there is a medium sized range of markers to choose from, but you have to basically beat the whole tournament bracket to be able to buy the "best" marker. When you get this marker you find that you can waste a large amount of paint very, very fast. On and average round that will last me about 3-5 minutes, I can shoot 300+ rounds.
Not to mention it is not in the slightest realistic, you can fire near 1000 rounds and not even chop 1 ball! and this isn't just the Grim Reaper(best marker) but on the very first marker you can buy which is basically a paintball pistol, the computer equivalent to a Brass Eagle.
On the issue of Graphics, take Doom 1 graphics make them 3D and you basically have the "High-Quality graphics" that this game claims to have. Even though the box states "Harness an all-new, full 3-D engine, which delivers vivid graphics ...". This is a flat out lie, unless this game was made in 1995 or so, which it was released in 2000.
All in all, this game is fun for maybe a week then when you beat the whole tourny w/o even getting a tie (not that hard ai ...), then you will probably want to go and crack the CD into a million pieces and never buy another paintball game.
Way less than promised

I have been playing paintball for a few years now, so it was no surprise for me when I purchased this software game, I wanted to be able to some what enjoy paintball in those days that weather or other reasons prevent me from going out to play. To make story short, I was very disappointed from this games. The control makes the picture jump, there is no real way to aim, and in many scenarios you have no idea what is going on. Bottom line, I was dissatisfied.

Having played the real thing, I must say that it is nothing like the real thing, but what computer game is ever?
However, with what they had to use, Activision has done an excellent job with this, my only complaint is that once you've played all the maps enough, it gets tiresome, and I wish there were some developers kit (SDK?) to allow for other maps to be made. Also, the one season gameplay is a bit short, they should have expanded the gameplay to include unlimited seasons each with their own challenges, or random happenings, like players leaving, and guns breaking down, to add an additional element. Overall, a very good game as far as it goes.
Wow, a shooting game for the whole family!

This game was awesome for what I was expecting for a low priced game. It has many many levels, and a lot of features you would only usually find in high price/budget games. You get to equip your team, distribute skill points, and control all of your guys. A really fun game in general, if you like first person shooting games, be sure to pick this one up.

The difficulty of the game is not hard or easy it is in the middle of the two when you start. After a while of playing it isn't fun anymore. If this game were a online multiplayer such as Half Life or Counter Strike this game would be one of my all trime favorites.
I recomend this game to anyone being a leader of a team because if you know your head from your ... you willl better than the computer by a ton.
What i am trying to say is if you are anything like me then you willl enjoy this game for a while but eventually it won't be a challenge and you will get bored. If you have never had played games with this king of action then you'll love it but if you have playd anything like many of us gamers have then you'lll think its to easy.
Definetly the Best

I've played all paintball games out there and they are all the same. Except this one. I find that it's the Goldeneye of Paintballing. If you're going to buy a Paintball game I highly suggest you get this one. My only problem with this game is that it doesn't have Multiplayer.

WOW this isnt too good i mean who want to play PAINTBALL A WOODLAND SPORT in a shaceship? that the whole idea of the game...WOw. not to many weapons either. If your lookinf for a paintball game get high impact paintball it is WAY better than this. No one even has the time to create a REAL paintball game. There are no paintball games out there that are really good but hopefully someday one will come out before i die. So dont get this game. he graphics are good but the gameplay isnt. The best graphics in the world dosent make a good game.(think wolf3-d)

It is the best paintball game I have played. It has pretty good graphics and realistic sounds and gameplay. There are 10 different levels which isn't quite enough, but, that is what you get for the price. Good deal!
