Ultima Online: The Second Age, is definatly in my book, one of the best games out there. You can play with thousands of players online, interact with people, and do about a million different things.
Iv herd people say that the lag is the worst in the world, and that you need a supercomputer to run it without lag. This is not true. Iv got a normal 56k modem with a normal internet connection and I have never had any problems.
In conclusion, buy this game! It's one of the best, expesialy if you want an online game. Then it IS the best.

If you are the type of person who like Role-Playing Games, then you will definatly LOVE Ultima Online. As you play a charactor on your screen you will see many other charactors, and they are people just like you sitting at their computer enjoying themselves playing this great game. When you first get this game it will be hard to get used to but after you play it for about a week you'll get a hang of it. All those beginning frustraiting days will pay off and you will be addictied to this game.

I used to watch my friend play this game online, and I thought, now this looks like a game that I could get into. I was totally right. After a few problems getting a registration code, I was up and running. Even with my outdated 56K Modem, it still ran just fine. Even though the graphics may seem outdated, it still is a great game. The game updates by itself, the largest online game in the world (guinness book of world records 2000 edition) and a game that will suck you in with its cool gameplay. The requirements are kinda steep with 500 MB of space, but its cool. Trust me, you gotta get this game.
Ultima online and t2a are the best games I have played.

I'm not a veteren but ever since of started my parents couldn't get me off the computer when i was playing, now it is even worse with more land to explore, but it will always be fun. I never could figure out why, making a life for another character other than yourself would be fun, maybe cause it doesn't matter if you try to be a hero and get killed.
The most addicting game I have ever played!

An online fantasy game based on the 80's mega-hit Ultima series. It's you and the rest of the world! Virtual hanging out at its best! Instead of going to 7-11 with your buddies, you're off to a dungeon for fame and gold.
The best part is that there are no preset character styles/classes. Just like your dad told you, when you grow up you can be anything you want! Be a warrior, a blacksmith, an animal tamer, or a combination of all three, its up to you! 100's of skills allow you customize a totally unique player. Hey, if evil is up your alley, be a murderer! In UO you can so WHATEVER you want!
The biggest problem with the game is lag! When there are 10,000 people playing all over the world, it's hard to aviod! If you have a powerful computer and REALLY GOOD internet provider (not AOL), you can have a blast with Ultima Online!
Great game but on the expensive side. I recommend it.

If you luv Swords & Sorcery, then this game is for you! However, this is not your ordinary hack and slash game. You can be a merchant selling your wares to the citizens of Britannia, a knight defending the innocent, a mage practicing the arkane arts, a pirate on the high seas, etc. There's no limit to what you can do! :o)
Even with the Player Killers and the Thieves - Very Sweet!

This game is so detailed that you may feel you are not playing but living the game. (don't forget to eat) Most online games I have played do things for you, or are so simple your 3 year old can play without intervention. If I was to sum up Ultima Online in one word that word would be: LIFE!
Great upgrade, must have

This upgrade to Ultima Online is great. There are more creatures, better 3-D terrain. If you play Ultima Online you must upgrade to add the new lands to your UO world.
absorbing and challenging

This game is absolutely engrossing... difficult, but not impossibly so, it makes you jump into Britannia and not want to leave. And I'm sure that later versions will only be better; it is novel to have so many other PCs to interact with in such a natural way. Very *t i g h t*.
