Great add on for any Starcraft fan

This exspantion pack increase the defensive and offensive cappablilities of alot of old favorites and adds some new characters to the scene. This is a must for any true hard core Starcraft lovin zerg smashin freak.

Can't wait till starcraft 2...

Honestly, if you want a good strategy game, get this one. Warcraft is pretty good, but this is just a classic, awesome game. The multiplayer keeps you online for hours and the map editor keeps millions of possibilities open for gaming. This game will keep you busy for a LONG time. Buy it!...

O.K. . The single player game is easy. You can beat that in an hour. But you get hooked. I played each level probably 1000 times before i finally started playing multiplayer. I played it so much my mom made me stop for a while. But does that stop me?! No way!! I still play it all the time.The only bad part of the game is the way hard to understand campaign editor. Im an expert at the game and im barely a rookie at campaign editor. Everything is easy smeesy lemon peezy until you try triggers. But lets not talk about that. Lets just say its one of those games that you just remember. Its also HAS to be one of the best games ever created.

Get it now!

If you think that StarCraft alone was fun, you won't believe how laim it is compared to the expansion. I doesn't change that much in normal gameplay, but if you like UMS Games(Use Map Settings) the expansion goes far out on it. The UMS Games didn't really start coming out until this was released. I have to say, if for some reason I couldn't play Brood War at all, I would sell StarCraft. Yup, thats right, StarCraft is nothing to me without Brood War. So get it NOW!

This game cant be beaten by any other rts it is amazing.I first got the demo of normal starcraft and straightaway got the real thing so when i saw the exspansion I whent and got it right away.I love this game there are many possilbe ways of killing the enemy/s.There are loads of units and 3 differeant races.There are plenty of campaign missions and if u do them then there are plenty more built in maps.To top it if u want u can make your own maps or even campaigns.The net is brilliant aswell.If you havnt bought this game and you loved the original sc then get this.

I don't know about you, but I hate those people who write reviews before they even beat the game. A lot of games are fun in the beggining, but get real old real fast. Well, I've had this game for, what, four or five years now, and it's still cool. For those of you who think that's impossable, hear me out. Some games are just one thing and it changes only in get a certain amount of whatever, those get old the first. Then there are games like Dune that are real cool but don't bring anything new, those get old a little later. Then there are games that are extreemly varied (and rare), and those stay cool for a loing time. Whitch one is Starcraft? None. I have to make a whole new catagory for Starcraft. No matter how cool a game is, it will get old eventually. Except for starcraft. If you get tired of blasting the Zerg with your forces, no problem, go on the web and play an rpg ,or a souped up Tetris (I never did get why they did that one), or whatever the heck you feel like. Or even make your own. You don't just make a new map on Starcraft, you make a new game. You can change everything, from unit health and names to stuff like "bring a Zelet here, create 1 Big Robot, and display text message he hotwired the guy's car". Anyway, I think I'm getting close to the 1000 word limit, so, later.

Expanding on the original "STARCRAFT" (great game), brood wars adds new units, abilities, campains, and types of levels(i.e. desert, snow)If u liked the original, BUY THIS GAME, IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!!

I have never played a game this good. Unbelievable. This must be the best game of all time. Nothing compares, maybe orginal StarCraft but that is abou it. If i were you i would buy this game. Blizzard did a great job here making this game. All the new units rule. I would give it 6 stars if possible. Overall great game. Buy it.

I've been a gamer for a long time, and I've played my share of strategy games. I still keep comming back to Starcraft for more. Three perfectly balanced and yet very different races battle it out. There's not too much micromanagement to kill you, but enough for you to feel a part of the race you're playing. I love to play the extra scenerios that they created for one time battles. You can modify them or even create your own from scratch. I just wish they had a random map maker. It would be easier then. You can, however, go online to Blizzard and download tons of scenerios that other gamers made. While the graphics aren't state of the art anymore they still are pretty nice. This game allows for both a strategic approach or the full rush type of battle. You have both land and air units and you harvest two types of materials (vespene gas & minerals) to build your structures and units. The campaigns are nice but after beating them twice I now just prefer to mix it up with the single scenerios. This is a must have of any strategy gamer who hasen't yet tried it. Brood War has some real nice upgrades that you will appreciate as well as the three new campaigns.

This has the best multiplayer mode ever. U get to go on the internet n fight kids from all around the world. Single player is ok 2 but Multiplayer is the best.
