At first I was told this game was very hard, and that it was a waste of my time. Now that I played it I love it! If you like stratgey games this is it. It belongs right up there with Starcraft, and Warcraft 3.

This game is one of the best star wars games out there.

This has got to be the worse game I have ever played, although I'm not much of a gamer. The story is that you're in charge of either the Rebels or the Empire (this takes place in the time of the three origanal movies), and you can make plans, move troops, make diplomatic trips to non-Alliance or non-Imperial planets, and conduct espionage missions. You can be any major charactor from Luke Skywalker to Darth Vader. This game sounds good in theory, but the excicution stinks. It is slow slow so very slow. If it is supposed to take a week to travel to a planet, then you'll be sitting waiting for it to happen for a long time. Stay away from this game at all cost.

A dissapointment from LucasArts

This is not to good of a game...from what i've heard there were to be two games....a Space Strategy game and a Ground Strategy game....based on the original StarWars.....Star Wars: rebellion/supremacy was the Space game and they just did it to soon.....all the work about it is poorly done though it has a few good parts ....they should have made this game way better and they could have.....LucasArts are the best in game making...(at least I think so) but this is their reject....it has of course it's good sides and it is pretty fun....but this game is from Lucas Arts and they are famous for Good work. Detailed work....especially after i saw ..StarWars: ForceCommander i saw how bad this game is i'm still going to give this game 3 stars and that's for the fun factor cause it is fun....but poorly done. Thank u ....

I urge u to vote weather this review helped you though you don't like to hear this it's the truth. please email me if u want to tell me what u think i should review next or just if you want to say i'm wrong. THANKS FOR READING

This is a great real-time strategy game. I just wish the graphics were a little better. My whole theory is if it's addicting, it's good. And this game can draw me in and I lose track of time.

Lots of Promise, but falls flat

Anyone ever play Privateer: Armada? This really reminds me of that allot. The great sweeping star wars saga has been replaced by nothing more then a third rate game of chess. The special effects are cheesy and the so-called battles take forever. Save your money and don't buy this one.

If you want a great Star Wars game get X-Wing or X-Wing Alliance.

Horrid game

This game is horrible. As a huge Star Wars fan, I was hoping for a fun, strategy game to play using the Star Wars universe.

Yet, not even the force could bring this game back to the light side. The gameplay is aweful, graphics are worthless, and really there is no reason to play the game.

If you want a good strategy game, try Starcraft, Age of Empires 2, or Civilization 3. AVOID THIS GAME AT ALL COSTS!

Good game to play alone, but not against others.

This is a very fun game, but when you play on the net agaisnt others it seems to mess up a lot with REB EXE errors. so if you wanna play others it takes longer because you have to keep saving and restarting, if that problem was fixed all would be great in it.

another misused label

I've had Rebellion for quite a while now and I'm still not quite too sure how the game works. It seems like a couple of the things that you could do that were advertised are completely nonexistant. Also, the game requires you to have some amazing micromanagement skills to play when you get near the end of the game. All those windows that pop up while you play won't make things any better. Perhaps the worst part of this game is the so called "space combat". The graphics, the controls and the concept of being only able to maneuver in a cube are grossly outdated even when the game came out. Yet for some twisted reason, once in a while, I'll get a feeling that I want to play the game, unfortunately this feeling will stop when I launch the program and all the bad memories come flooding back to me.

GREAT GAME BUT COULD'VE BEEN BETTER.

I love this game. It's very addictive, once you learn how to play it. There are some things that could be added to improve on the fun. Like having an experience rating for fighter squadrons (like Rogue Squad or the IMP 181ST), capitol ships, and other forces. Also, having more characters to start out with, as well as increasing the character lineup so there are alot more wouldn't hurt. Having to deal w/ main characters as spies that join your side would also be cool. You should also be able to combine your squadrons after taking losses. Having alist of names for ships, squadrons and other forces would be helpful for those that like to name their ships from STAR WARS databases. And for those more tactically minded Grand Admirals, better battles couldn't hurt, including: improved space battles, having planetary bombardments, and having planetary assaults. These are some of my suggestions, otherwise this is a must for all SW fans.
