I found this game quite auxilerating as I played it. I hope that activision decides to make an expansion pack for this game and then it will most certainly be better than the first. I played the demo and instantly ordered the game. I found it 10x better than the first and I hope people are urged to try it.
Great game for all ST:TNG fans

Star Trek Bridge Commander is a great game and its unique "on the bridge" feeling makes it a great game for all trekers, but the fun dosen't last too long. It's a great game to come back to after not playing it for 5 months but that does not mean that I regret buying it. Graphically Bridge Commander is great, the ships practically flew out of the show and the phasers ant torpedoes look fantastic, however "For every good, there is evil" (see Star Trek: Nemesis). The lip syncing is the worst in history. There mouths move in a set pattern no matter what there saying making it look like a horribly badly dubbed Godzilla movie, but if you dont care about lip syncing, then GET THIS GAME!
Make it so...

This game is great. The graphics are more than I had expected and I loved them. There is so much more play time and missions than armada 1 and it makes for a wonderful gaming experience. I would recommend this game to everyone.

I tried the Demo and was intrigued, but not happy with the rendering of the bridge crew. I purchased the Full version and can say that it's everything I expected and a bit more.
Plusses: Absolutely beautiful renderings of starships and stellar sights and sounds. This game provides a different sense of ship to ship combat with large vessels, where position and energy management count.
Minuses: An annoying First Officer. Lacks one of Klingon Academy's more interesting features, which is the ability to issue commands (attack, defend, stand-down, etc.) to friendly vessels. You are trapped in the Captain's chair. It would be nice to explore the ship or at least the bridge. Also, it would be nice to have a choice of Bridge Officers with different strengths and weaknesses.
Very good game, only one bug....

This is a good game: great graphics, interesting story, a very satisfying assortment of weapons and you get an up-close view of the Soveriegn Class Federation starship (nice looking main shuttle bay, and big too!).
BUT: Before installing the game, make sure that you have DirectX 9 compatible video and audio hardware and drivers installed on your computer or else the game will completely lock up your PC on the second part of the game. I had to download new drivers for ATI video card and Soundblaster sound card to fix this problem.
Other than that, this game is better than the first Elite Force in many ways and its worth the $$.
SFC for TNG

Interplay's SFC series arrives in the TNG era. All of the major ships from the TNG era are represented. The "scripted" campaign involves the Klingon's, Romulan's, and the Federation. In conquer mode, (I think), you can also play as the borg and go assimilating. I found this to be a fun game with realistic Trek weapons and decent graphics. Some missions are very easy, but once you get into playing and customizing your ship, you can play this game for hours and not want to stop.
