don't anyone ever buy this game. first of all, it made my sims 2 game slower than it already was, it has only like 10 new "cool" objects and it made all the walls in the game flash red and black so it bothers the heck out of you and you can't put up wallpaper. this is a lame game and i was hoping it would have been better. dont ever buy this dumb game and it not fun at all.

Ok I love the sims 2 ALOT! I am addicted to this game! So of corse I went out and bought this the day it came out! So I installed it! Then started my game! Well if ur like me u get a ton of downloads off the internet like furniture and houses and everything! Well it seems to wipe them from your collection of stuff! So that sucked! I had alot of stuff too! So that was the only down side to it! but the the stuff it gives u to make ur kids room is awesome! They are soo cute! I have twins a boy and a girl and they both have different rooms with both girlie or boyish stuff! So I recommend this to anyone but watch out if u download stuff off the sims2.com or any other site!!

I mean sure, there are not a ton of new objects but I love the princess rooms and the underwater rooms. The clothes for the kids and adults are neat too. I downloaded it off the EA downloader. So it was even more fun since I got to play it right away.

What a waste! Seriously, the stuff in this expansion pack SUCKS! I paid the full twenty bucks for it and I am not happy with what I got. Who like castles and aquatic themes? LAME!!!!!

Clueless kids shouldn't be allowed to use the internet. The red walls problem is associated with people using unsupported video cards. The problem isn't the game, but that they can't read a simple minimum requirements list.
There are no viruses in the game.
people really have to learn to read

I'd like to say that for people who had problems with bliking walls, thats because YOUR COMPUTER MAY NOT HAVE THE CORRECT GRAPHICS CARD. You have to read requirements. Also, if you read the produc description supplied for you you would realise that this expanishion pack is ONLY ITEMS!!! Also, the review previous to mine was written mid april, whilst mine is written on the 9th of june. Its only 15$, 20 because of shiping and tax, so buy it if you think it will be interesting, just READ THE COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS 1ST AND MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER CAN CARRY SIMS GAMES!!

In trying to appeal to everyone, EA releases packs that cram in furnishings, architectural embellishments and fashions. I know this game is something different for each person, so I'm not knocking it, but I wished for less clothes and more furniture. Guess it's off to Sim-PE land for me!
If you are really in to the Sims, this is a must

The objects made are very cute,especially if creating a kids room. This expansion is good for added on decorations.
I am hoping that other expansions will made and maybe they will make pets, (pet stores), bunk beds, exercise bikes, arobics classes, motorcycles, strollers for babies to take to the parks, additional types of cars, even for jobs...a Police Station, a hospital, fire department. Maybe actually have the sims go to school/classes in each age group. These would be great to work with.
