hours and hours of fun and surprises

I have always been a pinball lover, but was skeptical to try pinball software. Would it really be like playing the machine? With this software package, the answer clearly is yes. Yes! And what a surprise the animations and graphics have been. Little goblins whith wiggeling butts tease you to shoot at them, monsters show up out of the wood work, ghosts snatch your ball or take you to a cemetary to shoot skeletons ... It'll take a while to discover all the little surprises each of the three tables has in store for you. And just when you thought you had it all figured out, you just might discover a little extra memory game where you have goblins ringing bells, the sequence of which you have to copy, or a monster shows up where you have never seen one before. Switch between the tables during the game or stick with the one you're on, in either case you're in for hours of fun.

A Non-Stop Pinball Creepshow!

Pinball fans will love 3-D Ultra Pinball: Creep Night, a classic pinball game with three main tables and a challenging (and hard to get to) bonus table. To 3-D Ultra Pinball, a fast-paced computer game that precisely simulates the action of real arcade pinball, Sierra has added a non-stop creepshow of multiple bonuses, surprises, hidden levels, moving targets, and reward animations. Action is simple, with left mouse button controlling left flippers and right mouse button controlling right flippers. Every game is a bit different than the last, and special features include rats and skeletons that you can smash with your balls, gargoyles that will pick them up and deposit them elsewhere on the table, and wraiths and vortexes that will eat them. A non-stop-fun pinball simulator.

I have played other pinball games but after awhile they get boring. I play this game for hours and still don't want to quit. The only thing that would make it better for me anyway, would be to find a joystick or gamepad to use with it. I type all day and would love to be able to sit back and play without the keyboard.[...] But with or without it is a great game. shellady

I only have the demo and I love it! I am surprised everytime I play it and it's to bad it has been removed from the market as it is the coolest pinball game I have played. You never really play the same game twice. Although the demo has point or time limits it does play over and over but after so many points cuts you off but still worth a try till you get the real thing which is what I am getting ready to do.

Great fun and I love it!

I have had this game in my computer library since I bought my first computer in 2001 (it's now 2007) and it says something that I still get it out and play it from time to time. It really is great fun and if you have a sound card on your computer you should definitely keep the sounds on because the sounds are so appropriate to the game! Ghosts, skeletons, goblins and ghoulies abound and you never know quite what will appear next!

This is quite an old game with the copyright dating back to 1996 so it will run on most Windows computers if you manage to get hold of a copy. Just ignore the message saying it's failed the test and the various DLL errors you are likely to get, I've yet to find when playing it that my computer experienced any problems even on Windows ME. In addition it will ask you to run your computer in 256 colour mode which isn't possible on some modern computers - you can safely ignore this advice.

Put this game on your wish list, if you buy it you are in for hours of entertainment whether playing singly or with friends, and you won't regret your purchase.

This game is awsome. It has a new exciting twist on pinball. The tables are set up differently and there are lots of great surprises: like monsters jumping out! I won't give everything away. The sound effects are amazing and the music is perfect for the themes of the tables. If you love pinball, but are growing tired of the traditional boards then this is the game for you. The set up is more like 3 short boards put next to eachother to make a table with rooms that you can go in and out of with different objectives. A definite recommedation from me.
