Buy this game!

Really fun, simple premise. Easy to learn. If you want cutting edge realism, buy Links LS 2000 for your PC. If you want a truly good time that the whole family can enjoy, this is for you. It is the Pen Pen Tricelon of Sega Dreamcast sports games. I am a golf game collector, and I am very happy with this little gem.

This game is the best golf game that I have played on any platform. Some of the computer players are a little weak, but it makes it that much better.

I have played this game for hours on end. The graphics are very well done. I wish there was a better selection of players with better skills, but that's life. Perhaps there will be a Tee-Off 2 or something..

I can recall many a night staying up and playing this with friends to the wee hours of the morning.

If you are an armchair golfer, this title is for you!

Not for the serious golf fan

Tee Off is a fun game but diehard fans may find it disapointing. The game is based around fun and is easy to play and to get into. There are various different modes of play which improve the longitivity of the game, so you and your friends can battle it out to see who is the best. There is also an option to unlock new characters and new equipment though getting high scores.

I have no idea why others rated this so low. 6 if w/ friends

The single player mode is challenging. The other reviewers just forgot to change the difficulty level. The graphics are kiddy and simple, but the game is pretty deep and fun. I have to admit that the Japan course music is awesome! But if you got some friends, the game is worth 6 stars! I think this game is the ultimate party activity. It's easy to learn but you won't chew up the game and spit it out in a week. Well worth your dollars.

OK, by now I see that most of the faults have been addressed on this game. The characters are too-cute, have big heads and say non-sensical things. "Hee-hee, that's funny"? The world appears as some sort of futuristic Japanese computer/nature nightmare. The golf isn't realistic either. There are no stats to track, no real courses and the music is terrible. So, why can't i pull this game from my Dreamcast? Because underneath all it's faults, it's a nice golf game. And right now, it's the only game in town so I play it. The futuristic croquet game is also a nice touch and is fun to play. If you like golf, by this game. It's simple and basic and fun. You may curse the silly opening sequence and complain about the Japanamerican voice overs but in the end, you will continue to play this game and like it or not...you WILL like it!

This game is worth the money

I recently bought TEE-OFF, after renting it. First of all the controls are very easy to understand and figure out. You don't even need to read the instruction manual. It's a great game to sit back and relaxe to, and also a game that is fun for all players. You can play by yourself on the World Tour and play on 5 nice laid out courses, and unlock different player and equipment ( clubs and balls). Or you can also play against friends or the computer in 3 different kind of ways. Point play, Stoke play or Match play. oh and there is the added G-ball that is kinda like croquet.

They way the game plays is pretty nice. You can view and line up your shots from several different angles. You also get a Trajectory line, so you can see basically how far your ball will go. a nice feature. You're also able to hook and slice the ball when trying to get around trees.

The only downside that i see is that it is not a hardcore golf game. But then again it probably wasn't intended to be that kind of game. It is just a fun game to play, and if you like golf you will like this game. For the people who want a hardcore golf game this is probably not one for you. But for the rest, it is a cool game and it's worth having in your Dreamcast library. I give it 4 stars!

truely for all ages or atleast over 8yrs old

Just got tee off and my 9 and 10 yr old girls who have no idea how to play golf have figured It out, Very easy controls, and great graphic, and (5) 18 hole courses to play, play for hours and never play the same hole twice! should stay fresh awhile and its lots of fun! Im not a serious golfer myself and probably wont be back on the links again with this game in the house, I wont need to, but if your a serious golfer it might not be everything you ever wanted in a game but you wont shoot par on it without a few go rounds either. If its fun your after get this game,if its total realism your looking for best get in the car and go to the country club...

Not Bad. A Little Slow.

Decent game, good graphics, but it becomes a little tedious and slow sometimes. I'd like more 1 round choices, rather than having to play 10+ hours to complete an around the world tour.

A Good Game.

Tee Off is not a great game. But I found it to be very enjoyable. If you are a fan of golf, you will probably like this game. Gameplay is easy to learn and challenging. Still, Tee Off lacks graphically, especially for a Dreamcast game. Most of the courses look the same and could have used more variety. Playing the World Tour option is fun in that it allows you to unlock golf balls, clubs, and new characters. Overall, Tee Off is good but not great.
