This game was not one of HERinteractive's best. It was way too short (I solved it in about 6 hours), the puzzles were way too easy and the story line was okay. And, I'm not the only one who thinks this either. My friend and her two brothers have the same exact opinion.

Oh, and I just wanted to comment on Katie "bookworm"'s review. The graphics in LTBMC were good, but they were no where near as good as MYST. I've played MYST for years, and the graphics are TONS better than the Nancy Drew games, so don't think that they are the same.

Entrancing graphics, Dull plot and characters

The graphics in all of the Nancy Drew games keep getting more realistic and fine-tuned. However, I find when there are more characters, they have less personality. Also, Nancy Drew has been invited on this mystery with Frank and George, but she didn't stumble upon it. This made the plot rather dull. It wasn't much of a mystery, but this treasure hunt was more of an adventure. The clues were incredibly simple to figure out, and there even more unanswered questions in this game. If you are the type of person who always has to use wlakthroughs because you get stuck, and enjoys basic characters, then this is the game for you.

awesome fun

The following review by my daughter:
I am 15 and enjoyed this game. I have also played Treasure in the Royal Tower and Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake. I liked this one the best.

Oh Nancy...

When I first saw this game, I got a little too excited. I thought that the name of the train on the front cover was Nancy and who wouldn't get wound up over a train named Nancy? Well, it turns out the train's name is not Nancy. The person playing the game becomes Nancy Drew and that might be a problem for some males. If you don't like being called Nancy, then I wouldn't recommend this game for you. I started thinking about this and it can't be good for sales since the game only caters to half the population (plus guys who don't mind being called Nancy, which I don't think is very common). So if you're ready to become Nancy, slap on those heels and get ready for a wild and mysterious train ride through the land of secrets and Toronto.

Really Good Game

I loved this game very much and its one of the best Nancy Drew games because of it creavity. The only problem was it was too short and the puzzels weren't hard enough.

Excellent Entertainment!

Great game with lots of puzzles to figure out and lots of clues to keep you going. A very satisfying challenge to say the least. I just ordered my next Nancy Drew Mystery and am very much looking forward to getting it.

THIS NANCY DREW WAS COOL, EXCITING, AND ADVENTUROUS. IN SOME PARTS OF THIS MYSTERY, IT WAS HARDER THAN I THOUGHT ,AND IT TOOK A LITTLE MORE TIME TO FIGURE OUT.I THINK THE BEST PART OF THIS MYSTERY WAS WHEN I FIGURED OUT HOW TO WORK THE GENERATOR IN THE TRAIN AND THE ROOM WAS LIT UP WITH ALL DIFFERENT COLORS LIKE GREEN, BLUE, AND PURPLE ALL FROM THE BEAUTIFUL GEMS.THE PART THAT I DID NOT REALLY LIKE WAS WHEN MY SISTER AND I WHERE STUCK ON THE MEASURING SCALE AND HAD TO USE THE SLUGS TO GET THE LAST OF THE PIPES CONECTED. BUT THAT PART WAS NOT SO BAD. IN ALL, I REALY LIKED THIS NANCY DREW.

THIS WAS A SUPER KABOOM!!! :-)

Nancy Drew: Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon was a thrilling adventure with action every second. I rated this game a 5 star because it had execellent graphics and it was non-stop fun! I was awed when the machine holding the gems illuminated the room with dazzling colors from each small stone; that part was really a delight. I was challenged through out the game with looking for the metal slugs. I also found it difficult putting Camille's dolls in order. But eventually, I was able to get through those challenges- even though even though at times it was frustrating. Over all, this was a spectacular game, and i can't waite for Danger by Disign to be released- because you begin to memorize every trick and part of all the games, especially if you've played them all three times!!
