This was the first of all the nancy drew games i came across. I got it as a gift and wasnt too sure about it becuase most games like this seem to be impossible to beat or it gets to the point where you just give up but i gave it a chance. I then found myself glued to the computer screen!! It was one of the best computer games i have ever played.
The graphics are amazing and it is pretty simple to controll! The best part is that if you get suck you can call your frinds and they will give you hints or tell you something you should do. another nice thing is the second chance feaure...this lets you start from the point where you made a mistake and this was good for me becuase i find myself forgetting to save when i am so into the game.
So if you are looking for a fun, mystery, and a good adventure then this is the games to get! (I cant wait for the new one to come out..danger by design!)

The past and future blur together when Nancy Drew investigates the strange events surrounding the Captain's Cove Amusement Park. A freak roller coaster accident and a carousel with a mind of its own draw Nancy deep into a dangerous circle of falsehood and fear. Everyone you meet puts a different spin on the story. Will this merry-go-round ride bring joy...or tears? You must explore every inch of the Captain's Cove Amusement Park to investigate a series of frightening accidents. Keep your eyes peeled and remember what you see. You never know what information or tool might come in handy in your quest for the truth. Examine the inner workings of the antique carousel as you search for who, or what, is behind its mysterious midnight rides. The roller coaster is closed for repairs after a malfunction sends a visitor to the hospital. Was it a freak accident, or part of a plan? Joy is seeking the keys to her past; Elliot just needs to stop procrastinating. That's what they say, but what aren't they telling you? P.S. If you need additional help with this game, please post a review entitled "Dear Nancy," I will try to respond as soon as possible but please be patient and check every day, I will answer. Hope to hear from you soon!:)

There were lots of cool areas to go to. I played it two times already and am in the middle of my third time. The Nancy Drew games are about really interesting things. I have two games so far, this and The Scarlet Hand.

I own all of the Nancy Drew Games, and eagerly await the next one coming out. I love mysteries and used to read them, but enjoy playing them much more. These games always keep you guessing to the very end. Its a challenge to the mind with all the puzzles involved. Keep them coming, and who knows maybe in the future, we will see The Hardy boys make a comeback, and Murder She Wrote. Try these Nancy Drew Games you will love them.

This was the first Nancy Drew game that I tried. Compared to most of the other games in this genre this is not a very difficult game. It is probably aimed at children around the age of 10-12. The story is very nice and you do end up learning a lot about Maya culture, putting this game in the edutainment category. The graphics are way below par and the interaction is mostly Myst like. There is not much depth added to the game to make you feel for the character you are playing.
Overall it is a good game if you are taking a break from the tougher adventure games, and do not really mind the graphics and clumsy interfaces.
TOTALLY AWESOME

Once again, my daughter and I have solved another Nancy Drew case. It is really fun and adventureous. Once you start, you
cannot stop. These games bring you through all types of secret
passage ways, fixing motors on boats, finding birds, and all other types of things. We have told other friends about these
cd's and they are also enjoying them. Can't wait for the next
one.

I enjoyed this game the most out of all the other Nancy Drew games! It is very addictive, because it becomes so interesting. Not only is it interesting and fun, but it's educational. Nancey Drew is a great role model for kids too. I'd say that you have to get this game.
