This is great exorcise for your brain. It has a slight problem "reading" handwriting and recognising speech. That will give you a higher brain age. It does have a fun suduko game.

At first , I did not like the game .But ,I do now .It does have a flaw about being able to hear , there is a question asked of the player --Can you speak or not If you choose speak for some reason it will go just so far and then it says it can't hear you other than that its a good game and I probably will look into buying Brain age II .

Not only is my daughter hooked on this game, I am as well! This is a great game to enhance your child's math skills. My daughter wants to see her brain age decrease so it challenges her to do better and complete the tests faster. I highly recommend this game!

This is a really great game for adults! I have been testing and training nearly every day and I can tell a big difference in my memory already. I don't recommend for kids under 10. It's difficult for my 9 year old to perform the tasks quickly. So he gets frustrated when his Brain Age is older than mine. The only problem that I've had with it is difficulty at times getting the game to recognize what I am writing on the screen. This is a minor problem. Great game over all! Easy to use and fun to play!

As with its sequel, Brain Age 2, this game is good fun for adults. It isn't, however, always the best measure of brain function. The reason is the input device... in this case the stylus with character recognition. Often times, you can get cheated and frustrated when the game doesn't recognize your handwriting. A "1" can be interpreted as a "7", and vice versa. I've found the game has great difficulty with the number "5". So you could be the greatest math wizard and still get sunk by the game's ability to recognize your handwriting.
In either case, if you can learn to "adapt" to the game's idea of which numbers are which, it can be good challenging fun. The sequel is just as good, but if you were to choose one of the two to get, this one would be it. Besides, this one still has a great version of Sudoku included... and is better than some of the other stand-alone Sudoku games for the DS.

I've diligently used the product for about a month and I think I am a little smarter as a result. In any case it has been fun and I plan to continue my brain training.
Great product.
