I had heard a lot about this game and was eager to try it. It's fun, but repetitive. Perhaps the practice makes each attempt easier and so you feel smarter. After a week my brain is 50 years younger! Hm.

3 generations have used this daily and we each have our favorite games/training! It is fun to see yourself get better at some of the exercises. My daughter enjoys that she is better at some of the exercises than I am and it keeps her motivated to try and pass me at others as well!

It is a fun way to exercise your mind. It is informative and tracks your activity. There are some tricks to learn to improve your score that may not be directly related to the task at hand. Some of the activities that require voice recognition do not always understand you but work for the most part.
Remember "where...", not "when..."

Do you remember where you left your car keys last night so you can find them before rushing off to work? How about what you were supposed to pick up from the grocery store? Well if you remembered to bring the grocery list you forgot to fill out this afternoon maybe you wouldn't be where you are right now; staring at the produce aisle with a dumb look on your face.
This game probably won't solve your everyday memory problems but I have to admit it is very addictive and fun. With a variety of unlockable games which are good for your mind there is bound to be something that everyone can take pride in doing better than anyone else in the house. This cartidge even has sudoku games built into it! My mom and I love to compete with eachother in this game, seeing who can get a better improvement score. Are you going to become a genius just my playing this game daily? No, but you will definately feel better prepared for the next sudoku-bearing ninja that crosses paths with you on your way to your dental appointment.

Brain Age is a great idea, particularly for us older folks, but is marred by technical glitches. Accurate scores are rendered impossible by the program's stubborn refusal to recognize certain characters written as answers - in my case it insists my "i" is an "l" and my "p" is a "q". Numerical errors abound also. This just leads to frustration with the whole program. A character and voice recognition training aspect to this app is strongly suggested.
Great game.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Nintendo is Super Mario. My boyfriend is still addicted to these action video games. Naturally, when I heard that Nintendo had produced this brain training video game I was a bit skeptical. Why would gamers want to play a video game that doesn't have crazy effects or violence?
Well, this isn't your usual video game - but it is just as addicting! Playing this game is entertaining as well as great for your mental fitness. I am convinced that keeping your mind active is key to overall health and Brain Age stimulates the heck out of your mind! This product enhances your mental ability with reading and mathematical exercises. And since using Brain Age I have noticed a huge difference in my mental clarity and focus. However, this could also be attributed to the fact that I subscribe to the Agogus website, which focuses on mental fitness via challenging knowledge reports and brain games- which happen to be a lot of fun and way less expensive.
Bulking up your brain with Nintendo - brilliant.
