This game comes very close to being great. Although it shares many sections for the different tracks, there's enough of them to keep it new and interesting (unlike Ridge Racer). There are plenty of cars, and I barely scratched the number of upgrades available. The only thing that really hurts this game is the two player mode. Even when driving exactly the same kind of car, the second player accelerates faster and achieves a higher top speed which really takes the competitiveness and fun out of the race.

a very good game except the speed points which are pointless and annoying in all but one way, they keep the race short and sweet. I love the different ways to hook-up ya car. tha dvd extras are pretty sweet too.

In every sense. My only complaint is of the depth of screen, sometimes it's difficult to see upcoming turns in time, though it's partially due to the fact that you're only racing at night....

This game is pretty good as far as racing goes. The cars look good and the surrounding city skyline looks pretty good also. The upgrades are awsome at first but after you buy everything available you still find yourself getting beaten by faster cars. I worked hard to build the car that I drive, but now I need to sell it and start from scratch to compete with the big boys. Not a bad game, I just was expecting more. Looking forward to GT3!

This is the best game I've ever played based on the movie The Fast And The Furiouse it's bound to be great! This game has it all great graphics, sound, gameplay variaty, difficulty, and of course is very fun! This game i can garuntee will quikly become one of your favorites as it is mine! This is also a game to save so be sure to have a memory card when u get it or rent it!

It was ok, but only for driving around. There's nothing special about it. It's not like a lot of racing games like midnight club or San Francisco Rush, where the game pace is fast, it's kind of just cruising around. And it's too realistic. It's hard to make turns and there are not very many crazy shortcuts with ramps and stuff. Plus, there's not to many places to race. I personaly think that midnight club is a better game.

I got this game due to I had the dreamcast version ...the game isnt much different except for better graphics and more cars and rivals , plus you get to now put rims and different car club stickers ....Sure there arent many tracks but the game is about racing on the Tokyo highways and the look is almost identical , just watch the special dvd documentary on the game disc and then check the graphics...all in all a good game thats different from the norm..

This is the second best racing game ive ever played. ITs almost as good as gran turismo 3. When i play gt3 it feels more original. This game is pretty much gt3 tweaked a bit so u can change the appearence of ur car and stuff. If u dont care bout the color, just about the fun of racing, get gt3. If u care about EVERY little thing, get this. They are both cheap, and they have different tracks. Heck, buy both.

i think this game is the best racing game ever, the only thing they would need to work on. on the next one is a lil more detaling you know like, you came come out of your garage and then go left or right make more real alive kind it, making the own computer race again each other, and let the player make their own desing of gang, also let the comp ask the player if they can join a players gang and everytime one of ur gang memeber losses then ur gang reputain goes down and the player can either give money to his gang memeber or they can offer the money, also the player can kick any of his gang member off or one of the gang memeber can challege the leader of the gang, (or its own gang) also to make a place where is like a park where all the guys hang out at you can go to chill or u can go to racer i mean still have the other cars running around town like in this game but you get to have more choice then just looking for them around town either way i think this game nice also put more muscler cars in there like pontiac firebird, camaro, mustang, although most of the racers in real live happend at night u can make it as after u racer for a while the sun is coming out and thats where the police is coming out in town to do their rounds, so there is another part of the game if u want to play it crazy running away from the police... just something to think about, i hope you guys take my ideas inconsideration for the next game. one more thing work a lil bit more on ur replays they are kind of off the car screen sometimes. but thank you guys for letting me voice my opinion.

This is probably my favorite racing game (with competion by Metropolis Street Racer Dreamcast), which will provide you with weeks of fun. There are lots of cars to race while driving around Tokyo. Near the end, trying to beat some of the Wanderers will be quite frustrating, though. I really don't know how they could possibly think anyone could beat this game.
