Not this! If you are looking for a game. Do not get this! It has horrible controls and camera, lots frame-rate slowdown, extremely short, and it has a bad plot. So if someone says they want or bought this game your reply should be not this! The one good thing is there are 80+ characters.

How is this Frogger??

I will have to agree with all who rated one or two stars. And why would it take on a name of such a classic?

Controls are absolutely unmanageable and the angles are dizzying.

Definitely NOT worth the investment!!

A great game for kids of all ages

What a blast! The game is a lot of fun, with a little bit of everything. It plays great with a variety of challenges, it has wonderful graphics and lots of surprises. Also some very humorous characters you encounter on your journey (some had my kids laughing out loud). It's challenging enough that it takes a while to get through (I've been playing for 20 hours or so and haven't reached the end) but not so tough that younger children (such as my 7-year-old daughter) can't enjoy it. Buy it now if you're looking for a game for your kids to play on PS2.

frogger the great quest

This 3D interactive game gets you hooked from the start. And you won't want to stop until you save the princess. My neice, nephew and I had hours and hours(weeks actually) of entertainment.

This game stinks! I dan't know why they would make a game as bad as this. I reccomend Barbie's Horse Racing Video Game instead of this and I'm a boy!

Good for beginners

This game was great for me - but I'm new to 3-D adventure games. Until recently I was playing on a Gameboy Color and avoiding all games in 3-D because they made me dizzy. This game is paced slowly enough that I can actually get used to 3-D gameplay. It's alot of fun but the graphics don't always keep up with the action, several times I've been stuck in a wall for a few seconds because the view didn't update quickly enough. It's also not what I expected when I heard "Frogger", I thought I was getting an updated version of the original but it's really a different game playing on the Frogger name. Even so I really like the game and recommend it to those looking for something a little slower-paced.

Not like the other Frogger games

This game is not like the other Frogger games. It's more of a role-playing type and its very difficult to play because of the shaky controls. I had trouble steering Frogger in the right direction and my swimming was absolute torture. Also Frogger is in run mode all the time and to make him slow down and walk you have to gently press on the analog stick. As much as I tried I could not get the hang of it, so I just gave up and sold my game. I give it two stars because I thought the graphics were ok.

Easily one of the worst games of the year. The controls are terrible. Euthanasia in mind, I threw Frogger off a cliff into the maws of a giant fish.

Frogger: The Great Quest is awesome! You get to fight vicious pike fish, killer bugs, and frightening cats. You also get to encounter frog fairies, humans, bears, alligators, and much more. The graphics are almost perfect, but sometimes there are some hard-to-see places. All in all this is a super game and it is worth every penny.

While this story appeared pretty good at first, I quickly found this game more frustrating than it was worth. The controls are awkward and even after trying to play for several days I still could not get used to them. The graphics are pretty good, but not good enough to make up for the oddball controls. I thought to have my 9 yr old daughter play and she couldn't even get the hang of it. All in all, this game was a waste of money as I don't think I'll ever play it again. Not even if I'm bored beyond belief.
