Of how many games there are, this is by far my favorite. I love that you don't have to fight the bosses, and that you have several differnent goals(instead of collecting orbs in 2 and eggs in3).

Spyro the dragon is easily one of the best Playstation games. The graphics are fantastic. The best the Playstation can go. In fact in looks better then many N64 games. The game is a very long game that takes you accross several epic worlds and gives you multiple enimies to flame and jab your horns in there but. Bossess are a bit too easy but the game has so much for it any platformer lover will go for it.

Spyro is the CUTEST!

That said, the game is really fun. Not too hard that you rent it and after a while throw the controller down in frusteration-not too easy that you breeze through it. No, there are gems to collect and characters to meet. This was the beginning of Spyro. He only got better and better in future games. Check this one out first though or it'll drive you crazy(everything improves SO much in the next game)Did I mention how CUTE Spyro is??

spyro the dragon is excellent. i got it when it first came out and i still love it. and unlike most games spyro is not linear or task oreinted. theres plenty of things to do you wont catch yourself running right trough a world. you have to collect many gems eggs keys and unlock secrets. plus the very good detail in the levels and the ability to glide and fly are so fun you might just keep gliding and gliding and not wanna leave. the storyline is also very refresfreshing simple but way too entertaining to make you yawn. an emperor gnasty gnorc has recieved an insult from a dragon then he freezes all the dragons except spyro and its spyros midssion to free the dragons and unocover the stolen jewels-gems trough a series of vibrant and highly interactive worlds. the music in the game is superb and its not just a bunch of light lulabys either. the music is topnotch and the characthers are really cool. i would recomond this game to anybody its actionpacked not linear. the music is perfect the story is instresting and everything flows together so perfectly. if youre a fan of platformers this is a must only problem is its too easy.

I love this game. The characters are cute, they make great noises, and there are lots of worlds to explore. It's really hard to die too, so you could concievably play without a memory card. What I don't like about it is that Spyro is a little hard to control compared to today's games, and a lot of parts are highly frustrating. Thieves have stolen a bunch of dragon eggs and you have to chase them down and get the eggs back, but this is MUCH easier said than done. I have spent hours chasing these guys on some levels. I mean, I wouldn't want the game to be too easy, but this is borderline ridiculous. But it's still a really great game and I absolutely fell in love with it. I'd recomend it to people who love cute things and have infinite patience.

This was the first game I got when I got my playstation, and boy am i glad i did! The graphics are great, and so is the music. It creates a great war between the good and the bad, sans the gore. This is far better than the sequels it spawned, although they are okay too. My favorite level is in the dream weavers world, called haunted towers, where those tin knights come to life. You should get the game and find out more about that.

In this game, you play as the loved-by-all-kids dragon named Spyro with his sidekick Sparx, a Dragonfly. You'll have to free over 80 dragons frozen in 6 dragon-infested lands, restore all the treasure and magic dragon eggs and defeat the evil Gnasty Gnorc! The game's good & easy like many kids' games and is a very good party game. If you liked Croc, You may like Spyro!

I got this game a long time ago, but it's really cool!!!! It's interesting, creative, unique, and even the sequels are good, (except for Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, ugh!!! don't buy waste of 50 bucks!) It's challenging, but not enough to make you mad and give up. I love it!

I am normally not into video games, but when my brother brought it home one day, I decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed it! It was unlike any other game I had heard of before. My absolute favorite levels are 'Tree Tops', 'Haunted Towers', and 'Cliff Town'. But I love them all! The graphics are pretty good too. I can tell that the people who designed put a lot of effort into this game, and it shows throughout!

Spyro the Dragon was the game I got right after it's sequel: Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage. I know it's a bit too late, but I just think that the Spyro series are too fun. Spyro 2 is better than the first, but this game is still great. The graphics and sound is nice, the gameplay will leave you hours into this game, and the story is original. Spyro is one of my favorite series, and this game is great and fun for everyone.
