Looks like it's time to kill (updated)

I was 11 when I wrote my last review over a year ago. My rating hasn't changed, but I'm going to include some great things I forgot to mention last year. The gameplay is super-cool and moves fluidly in the third-person perspective given in the game. The multiplayer is similar to Syphon Filter 2 and 3 except for that five-minute timer. The babes are hot and during the game, you will find yourself unlocking secret areas. Also, about the multiplayer, you can play Duke in different costumes, like Red Duke, Blue Duke, Western Duke, etc. The arenas are huge and brilliantly done. The graphics, even with the typical PlaySataion glitches look superb. Duke also has a funny attitude. If you want to hear him say, "I'm going to kick you in the nuts!" or "It's a** kickin' time!" you must buy this game. Here's a tip: try your best to make Duke mad and he will say something so funny that you'll be rolling. As for the weapons, you start off with a Desert Eagle and then move on to more sophisticated equipment like the Gatling Gun and an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade, not "role-playing game). If you're a hardcore action gamer with either a PS1 or PS2, you will never, ever regret buying this game.

Graphics: 7/10 - Neat character creations and fantastic hard guns make up for the occasional sense of effortlessness in the graphics.

Sound: 9/10 - Great guns fire away with heart-pounding brilliance in sound and editing!

Value: 10/10 - With fun games like Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, you can't get enough. It's worth the money you pay for it because it's fabulously entertaining and will keep you glued to the screen for ages!

Overall: 8/10 - Dirty, sexy, hilarious, neat, action-packed, thrilling, fun...it would take another few reviews to put all the adjectives that describe this game. Just play it and see for yourself! Not recommended for people under 16 years of age.

The ultimate shoot 'em up fantasy. This is a game for the hostile psychopath in all of us. Graphics are okay but the sound is better. Above all else, we have a Grade A, all American hero with a twisted sense of humor. Sometimes I just kill things I don't have to kill just to hear his comments. But be warned, the game can get increasingly frustrating as you go deeper into it. You just won't go to sleep, as you'll find yourself in a new mantra, "Just one more level and I'll go to sleep. Just one more level and I'll go to sleep. Just one more level...

Not Bad At All!

To like this game you have to enjoy riddling enemies with bullets, scantilly clad chicks, big guns, humourous, often profane duke-talk, and interactive environments. Doesn't sound hard to like does it? Well, you're right. Not recommended for younger gamers, but definitely recommended for the mature player. The levels are often complex, and there are more puzzles than usual, even in third person!

This game is awful funny and really cool. The graphics are downright amazing and the split-screen two-player death match is impressive. For the first time in all Duke Nukem games, Duke can be played in third-person perspective for the first time ever. I play this game for hours... Have fun!

Great Stress Reliever

This game is a great stress reliever. You get to blast bad guys in the name of humanity, while your character spouts out hilariously sarcastic puns. There are very few games that I care to play again after I finish them, yet I still play this one over and over.

Definitely at crowd pleaser!

This has to be at least one giant step ahead of any other action game on the planet. The third person scenario adds to the enjoyment and Duke's comments are killers.... With the significant number of skill levels, the game levels and the one-on-one levels this is fun for hours and hours and hours.

awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's time to Kill through time

This game is really cool, and I love the dynamite. Also how duke can perform awesome flips n such. And the pig cops in Los angeles
are hilarious, because they say LARD on thei uniforms. The reason i gave it 4 stars is because when i first played duke, i had no idea where the key items were. Like finding the code to the safe in the old west, finding the crystals again in LA, that was the only boring and frusterating part. Everyone says it a good game about everything it has. I say the key items ( where they were placed) need alot of work.

I enjoyed this game a little simply because it was a first person shooter, hence my fun score of 2. However, now that I have played the game and grown up I realize I could have done a lot more fun things with my time. There are quality games out there that are fun and leave you with a positive message. This game left me feeling like I wasted part of my life. The individual's who made it programmed the dancers in the game to bend over when you went close to them and pressed a button. This is a terrible thing to show a young adult or anyone. Great emotions are not found in the hearts of people who create such. Also, I remember the game colors themselves to be quite dark and somewhat depressing. It would have been nicer had someone with artisitc style created the game. If that were the case though, then I don't believe the game would have been made.

I have the opportunity to sell my game for a couple bucks, but I do not like the idea of some unsuspecting individual to have the same discomfort as I did. So, I instead put the game in the trash where it belongs. I did so with a smile.
