when i started playing this game it was hard for me to stop i play it every chance i get and the best thing about it i got it for far less money from amazon.com.

I don't care what everyone says, this is just no fun. If you've played recent games, you'll notice that a majority of them have mixed genres, like Koudelka. Some are good, some are bad, this is bad. The battle system is very strange, in fact, in the beginning , I knew something wasn't right. This elimanates A LOT of RPG elements, even exp points, that's not right! What surprises me is that there are visible enemies in areas, and absoloutly zip on the world map. It really isn't hard to dodge enemies, unless you're in a corner, which will bring that challenge down. Though some people say the element system is just a copy of Wild ARMS 2, but it's more complicated than that, in fact, I have trouble understanding it, so I just press and hope for the best. The graphics are marvelous, but unfortunatley, the FMVs don't look too much different than past square games. The music, while not what people say it was, is above average. That's pretty much all this game has going for it. Hopefully, FF9 will steal the spotlight in my world more than this did in the fall. If you're a fan of chrono trigger, you might want to give it a try, but I doubt you'll get much enjoyment out of it.

Chrono Trigger was a great game. I was disapointed when played its so called sequal. The battle system [...], they took away part of the game that makes it a great rpg like items magic techs and much much more to a boring turn based battle of the same thing. You wont like this game unless your under the age of five, even then you'll think the story was writting for someone even younger than that. SquareSoft needs to make another sequal having Crono (from the orignal, and the greatest charecter of all time) wakes up from a horrible night mare and be like "heh like that ever gonna happen." I would give this a 0 or negeative stars if I could and is not even worth 5 dollars in my oppion but that is mine you have your own to make, I strongly sugest you dont purchase this game

Chrono Cross ssshhhuuuccckkkss. I played Chrono trigger after chrono cross and it is still the worst game I have ever played. I mean the grafics weren't that good and the story line was totaly messed up. the only good thing that was on the game was the music. the ending was comepletely not with the story line it didn't even match the game. it had nothing to do with the game. I mean it had more to do with the frist game then it did with the second game. I have been playing RPG games a long time and can tell if the game is five stars or one star and this game is a big ONE STAR.

i only played chrono trigger a while ago and i think its the best game ever! but then i played chrono cross and its even better! its got better graphics and everything but the thing that sets the chrono series apart from other rpgs is it's just amazingly fun! (other rpgs are extremely fun as well but not as fun)

Chrono Cross has something for everyone: Beautiful Graphics, AWESOME BATTLE System, WELL developed characters, Awesome Replay values{Once you beat the game once there is another quest it's the same but in the new one you try to recruit characters you've missed!

Chrono Cross is THE best game for the playstation for the moment having never played Chrono Trigger. I Was So impress with CC I'am going to search for a old copy of Chrono Trigger.

Chrono Cross Stars "SERGE" whom is not ... like Squall in Final Fantasy 8 and is one of my favorite Characters. KID is The Mysterious Girl That is always trying to join Serge's group. Leena: Serges Whould be lover.And 40 Other Characters!

Square has made A lot of Masterpieces:Final Fantasy 1-8,Xenogears,FF Tactics, Threads Of Fate. To this group I Add CHRONO CROSS.It's my favorite GAME{that title has belong to FF 8}

Chrono Cross is so good. I thinking Is FINAL FANTASY 9 going to be this Good. Hopefully Square can rise to make FF9 on the same level or higher of CHRONO CROSS!

this was pretty much the first roleplaying game i had when i started playing chrono cross not knowing the history before the game until later on. the game itself was difficult to understand at first but gradually became much easier as it was being figured out. overall it was alot of fun to play and still keep the game in my collection.

To truely understand this game you must have played Chrono trigger, although some of the original character don't make an appearance until close to the end of the game the over all plot extended what Chrono trigger left off with. The 40+ characters each had their own ideas and some of them are actually funny to beat the game with. Yes when you beat the game there are still 12 other endings to see and the time warp feature you get rocks speeding up time and battles. The coolest character in the game is Serge the silent protaginist as he seems like Crono and Frog (Glenn) combined with his weapons and power once you max him out. The true ending rocked even though you just see your team members faces as they talk to you along with..., ain't gonna ruin it for ya. Honestly i'd buy this game. It has two different time lines converged, the time line if Lavos never fell and azala destroyed the humans, and the timeline after Lavos's defeat by our favorite 7 characters. This game is a 10

If you've played Chrono Trigger, then you know what to expect...however, this game has a more complex storyline, 44 characters, and amazing graphics...even though, it's somewhat easy if you've played through CT and the Final Fantasy series, it's worth buying...enjoy...

The reason why I gave it 4 star is cuz the main character Serge is ugly, Crono in Chrono Trigger is better looking than him, anyways, the girls are cute so it's alright, the storyline have alot of ideas stolen from other RPG games, some ideas are from FF7, if you think for a moment you will know what I'm talking about.
