My first game

This game is fun! You get to cook chickens and smash slugs. I've beat this game hundreds of times and I have also beat the mini games. This game is GREAT!!!

When I first played this game, I found it a little boring. That is until I played with my sister. This is probably one of the most fun multiplayer PS2 games that I own.

Basically you have 4 characters at a time playing and you can switch between characters. Each character does something different. For example, the Gingerbread Man has the ability to use his candy cane to hit high targets. Donkey can kick trees that are in the way. You travel together through different areas killing slugs and other creatures and collecting coins while working together to get through the level. It's fun to play with two people because it's sort of difficult during certain parts of the game to get two characters to work together to get through a particular part of the game so having two people play helps a lot.

Our favorite part of the game is "hero time". This is when a certain character has to use their skills by themselves to do a certain activity. For example, Fiona's hero time has her singing, Shrek has him fighting, etc. The hero times break up the adventure/exploring part of the game very nicely.

If you have children that like Shrek, this is the game for you. Also, if you have children that don't like playing together, this is the game for you. In this game, they're forced to work together in order to get through the level. And some things the characters say are quite amusing so adults will love it too. LOVE this game!

My son got this game for Christmas, and it really is a lot of fun, the graphics are wonderful and it is very true to the movie.. and it's really a challenge beating the levels because it takes a lot of thinking and stragedy.

I give this ***** because no matter how many times we may beat the game it's still fun.

my review is for the gamecube version. this game is fun and entertaining. yeah I know that some parents wondere why It's rated E but this game was released before the E10+ rating came so realy this game is or should be rated E10+ forcomic mischief and violence. anyway the graphics arn't bad and the game is full of funny diologue by the charecters. I have beaten the main part of the gme but I am only through 75% of the game. If you loved the movies and have kids buy this game.

this games is just great, i found funny to play everything in it almost like in the game, the controls are very easy, the graphics are quite nice, and the music too. great choice.

This game is one of best games I've ever played. And it could be alittle disgusting because in the game you have to collect eyeballs. I felt like throwing up when I collect one. Anyway, you can also play as a team of four like Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Puss'N Boots , Gingi, and a new player called Lil'Red. And help them battle various enemies like villagers, pumpkins, knights. Don't rent it it'll be better if you buy it.

This game is SO fun! I bought it for my neices and nephews to play when they come to visit and they had a ball. My youngest nephew had a hard time working the controls, so I took over for him and played with my 8 year old niece. We laughed so hard at this game- and had so much fun playing it! The graphics are fine, and the story line is very entertaining. We love this game!

Fun to play, but my 10 year old beat it in 4 hours total play time. Hardly worth the money.

Simply put, this is a fun game. It's not complex, and if you're an experienced gamer it's very short, but if you're looking for a break from other, longer games, this is a good one to pick up. The levels are varied and creative, the character switching adds a nice twist, and the visuals are very nice. Having said that, you're better off renting this for the weekend, because it's very short, and not the sort of game you'll want to replay over and over again.

Painfully slow PS2 graphics and really lame characters. All four players move together and its a pain to figure out which one has what power.
