If you're a Mac User like me, and you're tired of PC Users getting all the hot titles, here's a step in the right direction. Quake II has all the features and frenetic game play of the Windows version. Quake II in many ways picks up where Quake left off. There are still the fantastic graphics and hideous enemies of the original, with cooler weapons, more complex levels, and smarter bad guys. The improved AI of monsters is evident, as they duck, hide and even fall back and setup ambushes. You will need a good system to run this game. Anyone with less than a G3 will probably find game performance a problem, but if you've got the hardware, this is a must-have game. Multi-player support is also enhanced, making death matches run more smoothly. So lock yourself away and prepare for another bout of repetitive stress injuries, because Quake II for Mac is here.

If Unreal was not quite your thing but you like this type of action game or if your looking for a little no bot action this games for you. Multi-player is a bit lacking but then again their Quake 3 that is better in action and multi-player. But Quake 2 has a very good story and the flys are so much better than Unreal.

Come on, it's Quake!!

Quake II is awesome, not only becuse of it's awesome single-player mode, but becuse of it's great deathmatch mode. The game has an interesting plot. Basically, you have to kill every Strogg (alien) you see, so you can win the war and get off the planet, Stroggos. The interesting thing is, the AI is almost alive. The Strogg really want to make sure your giblets are safe and sound in their bio-vats! Some of the Quake III characters have references to the "war on Stroggos", so this game has, and will, make a lasing impression on the gaming community.
