The Elite Edition comes with both the original release of the game and the Flashpoint Kosovo expansion pack, which adds huge battles that will test the skills of any armchair general. Those new to the series can cut their teeth on smaller missions or shorter campaigns, as it takes a lot of practice to effectively use all the options (and information) at your disposal. This game puts the entire modern battlefield in your hands--air, land, and sea--and those three elements can get a little hard to juggle when the war is afoot. The only real problem we had with the game was that the larger battles tended to bog down all the systems we tested them on, so customers with older machines will have to stick to the smaller scenarios or upgrade their hardware. --T.
