Genesis Rising: The Universal Code is epic sci-fi action in a real-time strategy game. In the distant future, human space expansion has led to a new religious belief. Humans now consider themselves divine, and have decided it is their divine right to rule the entire galaxy. As mankind advances through the galaxy they'll leave a trail of warfare, genocide, and conquest.
Three thousand years in the far distant future after what was believed to be the arrival of ?The Savior,? mankind has carved a bloody path across the known Universe. Considering themselves a divine race and beyond reproach as a species, they view all alien races as inferior. Those that do not bend and acknowledge the infinite superiority of the Human genome are subsequently punished or simply destroyed. The dominion of the Human race was ensured by Organids - genetically designed organic machines, easily adaptable to any enemy strategy. Only one region of the Universe remains unconquered: The galaxy where the Universal Heart, an enigmatic entity that spawned all life and matter into the universe, is hidden. At least, that's what the Humans believe. As Captain Iconah, you have been commissioned to uncover the location and purpose of the Universal Heart. Take command and lead your fleet to a glorious destiny and ensure the survival of mankind. A co-op mode in which two players can work together and control one fleet! All of the 20+ gene-based Organid ships in the game can be customized with over 50 different weapons and abilities giving the player thousands of possible combinations to choose from when constructing a fleet As genes are inserted, ship models will morph in real-time

Features

  • Unique organic ships - harvest blood and process it into currency, to buy more ships
  • Genetically engineered ships can be upgraded through DNA purchases -- give ships special abilities, increased defense, new weapons and more
  • Real-time strategy gaming as you move around the galaxy battling with multiple alien races
  • Mission structure in the single-player mode varies from escort missions to timed missions to seek-and-destroy missions -- all with multiple endings
  • 16-player multiplayer action as either the humans or the Defiance (an alien confederation rebelling against the humans) or the Inquisition (human outcasts fighting the expansion)
