You Are Empty is a first-person shooter that takes you into an alternate-world USSR. In the late '50s, leading Soviet scientists created superhumans in the hopes of a brighter future for Russia and for communism. But tampering with Nature has its consequences -- the new supermen broke free and rampaged throughout the city, killing thousands. The few survivors mutated to face this deadly new threat; they are now the only inhabitants of these dark, deserted streets. You Are Empty immerses players in an exaggerated dark and obscure atmosphere of Soviet totalitarianism. Fighting against mutants created by the Soviet super soldier program, the players are tasked to figure out what happened in the city and stop the mutants from spreading further.
