Design and command your elite army in a massively multiplayer online gaming experience that combines the real-time strategy and role-playing genres. Supporting more than 100,000 gamers at once in a single, persistent world, Shattered Galaxy's real-time-strategy battles allow more than 40 gamers to compete for long-term rewards. Beyond the fields of battle, players can also become involved in the complex social and political systems that inhabit Shattered Galaxy--a 24/7 world of continual evolution awaiting its newest brigades of cybercommandos. Gain levels in four distinct divisions of warfare with a design system in which players build and manage up to 50 combat units equipped with more than 1,000 high-tech military components. Dozens of unique combat abilities, such as cloak, mind warp, carpet bombing, and fusion storm, add to the action. Players can choose from a multitude of factions, each with its own government and society.
Shattered Galaxy gives players numerous planets to explore and wage combat upon. The Battle Metrics design system provides balanced gameplay and hero, unit, and item attributes. It also features a tier system that provides long-term objectives for teams of players while ensuring variety and balance in gameplay.
