Red Shirt Logs
Insert disc eight of the set in your player and access the [Bonus Features] section. Once the menu cycles down to feature the helm and navigational controls, highlight [The Birth of a Timeless Legacy]. Now press the [Up] arrow key on your remote control to highlight the sensor panel. Press [Enter], and you will see a 4four minute hidden "Red Shirt Log" of George Takei setting the record straight about his fencing rehearsals for "The Naked Time".

Now go back to the original [Bonus Features] menu and highlight [Life Beyond Trek: William Shatner]. Pres the [Up] arrow key to highlight the navigational panel. Press the [Enter] key now and you will see a two minute hidden "Red Shirt Log" of Robert Justman discussing the use of forced perspective filming in "The Cage".

Back to the [Bonus Features] menu select the [Next] menu entry, which will take you to the second menu page. Highlight [Communications] and then press the [Up] arrow key on your remote. This will highlight the Red Alert panel on the console. Press [Enter] and you will see a two minute hidden "Red Shirt Log" of Robert Justman discussing the casting of actor Clint Howard and the dubbing of an adult voice for the character of Balok in "The Corbomite Manuever".

Now go back to the second [Bonus Features] menu page and highlight the menu entry that reads [Return]. Press the [Down] arrow key on your remote, and a highlight will appear on the directional control panel at the bottom of the screen. Press the [Enter] key and you will see a two minute hidden "Red Shirt Log" of John D.F. Black and his wife Mary sharing their thoughts in general on the series and discussing the casting of William Shatner as Captain Kirk.
