Hidden characters:
Hold A + B + X + Y + L + R + Select + Start and power on the SNES. Release the buttons when the "Press Start" text appears. Additional characters will appear on the character selection screen.
Alternate costume color:
Highlight a character and press Select + Start at the character selection screen.
