GTR
Complete the Seaside track.
Alternate camera view
While playing a game, hold Select and press Triangle.
Bonus vehicles
Complete the following goals to unlock the corresponding vechicle:
SIR
Complete the Downtown track.
GTS
Complete the Downtown track with over $1 million. Alternatively, Complete the Seaside track.
GTK (garbage truck)
Break the speed limit on the freeway section of the Seaside track by at least 60 to 75 mph.
SSP (street sweeper)
Exceed 144 mph at the speed checkpoint on the Seaside track.
ELS
Complete the Seaside track with over $2.5 million.
LIM (limousine)
Complete the Metro City track.
VPR (Dodge Viper)
Complete the Downtown track with over $1 million. To accomplish this, select the 318 as a vehicle. Reverse back into the jewelry store when starting at the beginning of the track. Destroy the rest of the jewelry, which is worth $80,000 each.
GT1
Complete the Seaside track within 4 minutes.
PCS
Complete the Downtown track within 4 minutes.
DAM
Complete the Metro City track.
PLC (police cruiser)
Complete the Seaside track with no accumulated money and no damage.
BUS (City bus)
Complete the Seaside track.
360
Complete the Metro City track with over $2.5 million.
TNK (tank)
Complete the Metro City track with no accumulated money and no damage.
NSR (Acura NSR)
Complete the Downtown track within 4 minutes.
RCC (R/C car)
Destroy the displays on the left wall at the shopping mall in the Metro City level, then complete the track before time runs out.
FML (Indy car)
Complete the Downtown track with no accumulated money and no damage.
Faster cars
At the game mode selection screen, hold Triangle, then hold L2 + R1 + R2 on controller two. Release L2 + R1 + R2, then quickly press R2, L2, R1 while still holding Triangle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear the sound of an explosion.
All vehicles and tracks
At the main menu, quickly press L2 + R1 + R2, R2, L2, R1 + Triangle on controller two. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear the sound of an explosion. Alternatively, hold Triangle and quickly press L2 + R1 + R2, R2, L2, R1 on controller two at the game mode selection screen.
All vehicles
Insert a memory card with no saved games from the game. Hold Triangle, then hold L2 + R1 + R2 on controller two at the main menu. Release L2 + R1 + R2, then Triangle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear the sound of an explosion.
DTK (Diesel truck)
Complete the Metro City track.
TAC
Complete the Metro City track within 4 minutes.
CIV (Honda Civic)
Complete the Downtown track within 4 minutes.
FD7
Complete the Downtown track within 4 minutes.
DBL (Diablo)
Complete the Metro City track within four minutes.
