Cheat mode
Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C during game play to display the console window

| familyfunds <name> <0-999999> | Assign money value to a family from the neighborhood level. |
| UnlockCareerRewards | For the currently selected Sim, they immediately gain access to all career reward objects in the catalog. |
| aspirationLevel <0-5> | Gives aspiration reward points to the currently selected Sim. |
| maxMotives | Maxes the motives bars of all Sims currently on the lot. |
| aging <on or off> | Prevents all Sims from aging. |
| autoPatch <on or off> | Re-enable notifications when there is a game update available for The Sims 2. |
| moveObjects <on or off> | Remove object limitations |
| aspirationPoints <number> | Set aspiration level for the currently selected Sim. |
| slowMotion <0-8> | Set speed; 0 is normal and 8 is the fastest. |
| lockAspiration <on or off> | Stops aspiration decay/gain. |
| showHeadlines <on or off> | Toggle all thought balloons, speech balloons, and ++/-- type headlines. |
| motiveDecay <on or off> | Toggles motive decay. |
