Playstation : Battle Arena Toshinden Cheats
Below are the cheats, hints, and tips that Game Gas knows about for Battle Arena Toshinden. On the right are
websites that may have additional cheat codes, hints, or tips for Battle Arena Toshinden.
Cheat :
PLAY AS BOSS: Gaia
To play as Gaia, press quickly: Down, Down/Back, Back, then Square button before the words finish coming together at the Main Menu/Title Screen. If done correctly there will be a "Fight" sound and the words will turn pink. Then at the player se3lect screen while Eiji is highlighted, hold Up and press the Square button once more. You should now be able to play the slow, but strong Gaia.
PLAY AS BOSS: Sho
Do the trick above to play Gaia, then let the demo run. Press START and go to the title screen. When the options start showing down the screen, take controller two and press L,R,L,R,L & the Square button. You will hear the word "FIGHT!" At the character select screen, move to Kayin and highlight him. Now press and hold DOWN on the directional pad then choose the character with a button (circle, triangle, etc.) You will now be able to play as Sho!
CAMERA OPTIONS:
To set your camera controls to the top four buttons, go to the options select screen and set your controls so they read NOT USE. Change the camera angle action to YOURSELF and set the keys to camera X and Y. If you have two controllers, pause and hit SELECT on controller one to let you zoom, and SELECT on controller two to advance each frame.
PAUSE and LIFE BAR REMOVAL:
To remove the pause options and life bars, pause and hold all four fire buttons. Hit select twice to remove them.
FATALITY for the character with the claws:
1) Use this moveby tapping these keys: X, Square, Triangle, Circle, Away, Towards, Away, Towards, and (Triangle & Circle at the same time)
USE SECRET NORMAL MOVES ON COMMAND:
First, enter the Sho and Gaia codes and then wait for the demo, then press START. As soon as the title screen comes up, press Down + Left + X. (If this doesn't work, try Down + Left + Square) After you hear a voice shout "Fantastic", go to the Options menu. Change the shoulder buttons to your special moves. Now start a game.
At any point during a fight, press R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 + Select to use your character's Special Move.
USE ALTERNATE COLORS:
Press Select at the Character Select screen to use the character's alternate color scheme.
USE EASY CONTROLS ON HIGHER LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY:
Normally, Battle Arena Toshinden won't let you use certain wimpy controller configurations on the higher levels of difficulty. You can by using the foolowing code: First, enter the Boss codes and the code for EASY SECRET MOVES. Wait for the game to demo itself and press START on controller 2. At the title screen, press Left, Right, Left, Right, Left + Square on controller. The voice should say "Fantastic" and the options will turn yellow.
PLAY WITHOUT LIFE AND OVERDRIVE METERS:
During the match, pause the game. Press and hold Circle, Triangle, Square, X and hit SELECT twice.
