Milking The Cash Cow

Samurai Warriors is a hack n'slash game for the Xbox. It is played in the Third person view. You pick a warrior and fight along your army in Feudal Japan, you'll also get two bodygaurds that will attack your nearby enemies to protect you. There are hundreds of enemies on screen and the action is very good if you like these type of games. The gameplay is similar to Dynasty Warriors series 1 thru 4. The sounds are the same, the graphics are the same and the levels feel like the same thing. In fact, Samuai Warriors feels EXACTLY the same as Dynasty Warriors. There is nothing innovative in gameplay to set these games apart. This game actually takes one step backwards, by including a lousy camera system. They also added indoor levels where you fight random enemies in mazelike castles, filled with booby-traps. Sounds exciting, but it is rather boring. Don't buy this game expecting new and refreshing game mechanics, because it feels and plays pretty much like all the DW series. The game creators are laughing to the bank while you play the same old game over and over. The only work they did was make it into a Japanese setting and creating new dialog for the story. Don't get me wrong, I love DW games but expected something different this time around. How many times are they going to milk this same cow?

this is history people but there are some unreal events and so on but any way samurai warriors is a great game here is a list of some pros and cons

pros
Great body gaurds with different cool weapons.
Horses can now attack like stomp and they can stampede into enemies
New items and a shop thingy.
More characters to chose from for create officer mode.
ninja jumps and all of those improvements.
Sky ninjas, Strike ninjas, Wind ninjas, Fire ninjas, and musketeers have been upgraded

now for some cons
those stupid lousy castle levels they stink like...
it seams like every 4 seconds something important happens like a genaral dies or somthing and i dont have enough time to get around.
and other things little things that dont come to my mind at the moment but overall it is worth to atleast rent to try it out. go get it today!

paid like 20 bucks for this game. and it did give me plenty of fun hours with it. although it is now outdated by other games like it. like samurai warriors two and such. it was still a good game.

This game is fun. I like it. It has a lot of characters. It has a lot of modes. It is like DW 1, 2, 3, 4. It is awesome. It is better then DW 1, 2, 3,4

I really enjoyed this game like DW3 and DW4. You spend so much time playing through these games. And never get bored of it. This game will keep you in for the months or even years of upgrading and unlocking everything in this awesome masterpiece.

when I heard that they came out with a new game to add on to the original dynasty warriors game I almost made a suprise in my pants I was so excited. when I heard that the game was called samurai warriors I thought that it was going to be geeky but the first time I played it I loved it and that is why it gets a 10/10

okay ill give it to you this game is almost the same as the other DW games but it is not about them in fact they are awsome to but this game is still awsome it is the most actionist game in the whole wide world YEAHHHHHHHHHH

all of the other reviews say its the exactly the same as the other dynasty warriors series but think about this, you get new characters, new weapons, new levels, new and improved bodygaurds, a musket for gods sake! different moves,you can jump with your horses and it is the most addictive game I have ever played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great game! [...]we were so happy and then i beat the whole game on every single mode and it was hard for me to beat them with every charactor and i made 15 officers in officer mode and i beat it with all 15 of them too and the 30 level was pretty hard but i still beat all 90 stages.like i said i beat the whole game.it was fun i'm starting all over again.
