This game in reality matches the hype given. It provides a fairly realistic
graphic representation of the sea and ships involved. The interaction for the gamer is very satisfying. The option of using voice commands is intriguing and takes the game to a higher level of satisfaction. The
options and choices available for the player to pursue provides considerable variety adding to the satisfaction derived from playing.
The actions and consequences are quite realistic as the scenarios unroll.
I recommend this game fully.

I was unable to install the game. Thus it is useless for me.
My system exceeds the requirements, yet the game wouldn't install.
I'm glad I did not pay full price for it.
almost perfect.

overall this is a very good game.graphics are great.lots of replay value.just like being on the bridge of a real naval ship.Only couple drawbacks.1)depthcharging is very hard, and one of the few tasks you cant assign to the crew.2)its accuracy in what tools were available at the time on board certain ships is maybe a little to real, since you are "playing a game", and not really there it makes it little harder to cope with some of the situations, like depthcharging a sub.I also own "Silent Hunter 3", it is a lot better in the aspect of being user friendly towards accomplishing your desired tasks.Just got "Enigma", last week 9/6/06, and am still learning the system, but am overall pretty happy with the game.Hope this will help when deciding to purchase or not. If I had to do over, knowing the small problems,(if you can even call it that), I would still have bought the game.Happy hunting!!

The ultimate choice of people who like to play ships wars, with real ships, real weapons.
You may find it hard to manage the weapons, and to know the shortcuts.
Not many like this one

First off, this game seems to require some pretty beefy system requirements so make sure your computer is up to par with the recommended system specs. This is a pretty fun game because it really lets you take control of wartime vessels. I will admit that it is one of those games you may not play much but you are glad you own. The graphics are detailed and the visual effects are pretty cool as well. There are a fair amount of ships that you can take control of, everything from submarines to full-sized battleships. When you are in rough weather the boats will bounce over waves to the point where the screws are exposed. It can be tough to fire a deck gun when the boat is bouncing around but if you are looking for simulated maritime warfare this game fits the bill.
