I'm going to get right to the point. This game kicks about every other hack 'n slash game to the curve. It is basically the same game as it's predecesors, with two changes. One, the graphics are a lot better. Two, there is way more replay value. If you have ever played a Gauntlet game before, should feel right at home. They're are lots of playable charecters. 50 I think. My only complaint is that single-player is limited. Overall, you should by this game.

At least the game is fun...

I have a few complaints about this game. First off, let me say that I had a lot of fun playing it with three of my friends. It's definitely a good party game. But here's where I was let down. I owned this game for the dreamcast, and as far as I can see it's just a port of the Dreamcast game, and a bad one at that. The graphics are not very good (definitely not 32-bit color), the sound effects are not very good, and there were even some errors in the game if you played it long enough (specifically I remember that certain textures would be drawn incorrectly, and there would be lighter colors around the enemies. I fixed it by rebooting the Xbox. Another example is how the announcer would proclaim that "Blue Warrior has stopped time" when he really meant "Blue Warrior picked up a stop time and it is in his inventory. You see what I'm saying.) For my friends that never played the first version, it was a great game because the idea was new. But for me I was just very disappointed in the poor port of a great game. If anyone is planning on buying this one, I'd recommend renting it first. If you really enjoy it, then you might want to buy it like my friends did, but otherwise I would wait 'till Midway actually spends the time to make a real version for the Xbox.

This is a good game for xbox and PS2. I don't have an xbox but PS2 i have great game buy it its worth all your cash.

this was an awesome game thanks for the experience i've played the first gauntlet legends and loved but this was a great improvement on it the multiplayer is off the hook its great i highly recomend this game.

THIS GAME IS THE BOMB!!! LITERALLY! I COULD PLAY THIS GAME FOR THREE DAYS STRAIGHT AND NOT GET BORED OF IT (BUT THATS MY OPIOION)! THIS IS A "MUST BUY" GAME. EVEN THEOUGH IT CARRIES A PRICE TAG OF $[money], IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY (YES, EVERY PENNY) HOURS OF GAMEPLAY AND VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, ADDICTIVE! YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

my advise to you is to get this having multiplayer on it is so fun!!!!!!!!! the characters have awesome special moves it might be har d to have on xbox cause the controllers are so chunky. but on gamecube or playstation2 its awesome it's very long and hasbetter extra stuff on gamecube the graphics are probbaly the same on any system but its fun

This is fun and easy game to play. There are many characters to chosse from. As you advance in higher level, the game is more difficult. This game will give you weeks of fun. Try it, you will like it.
